I am a fit and healthy 42 year old male who recently had a clean physical. Lately however I have had a difficult time keeping an erection or staying as hard as I would like. I'm looking for advice on any over the counter supplements that have similar effects to Viagra as I'd like to start with something non-prescription.Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks

Get a BBBJ before you stick it dude. After you rest a minute and if she any "skills", you'll be back in the saddle in no time, hard as a ham bone. Most of the non-prescription formulas if they work at all, take months before there is any real effect. And of course, if you want prescription drugs, they can be had over the 'net w/o seeing a doctor. Now, did you consider that your 'johnson' may be taking a vacation because you are out of shape, smoke, and perhaps drink too much? Join the club, your "stiffy" will never be like it was in your 20's, get past your ego and find a good provider that rocks you baby. The price will be worth the ego boost you seem to need.

SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

There are many reasons for non-performance issues that men must deal with in our age group. Most of them are of limited time duration at best and have NOTHING to do with your health. (ie  just a bad day that has you worried about something else) It goes under the heading of shit happens. Woman that do not understand this as men hit 40+ are damn fools. The trade off is, by the book, most men have better control, and can last longer at 40+. We have learned to slow down...take our time...and enjoy. This is a big plus for the lady. Ask the woman if you don't believe me!

Most times, it can be as simple as drink less coffee/pop or a minor change in sleep/eating habbits to cure the 'problem'.  But only your MD is your best answer to this problem. One should NEVER take these type of drugs without the direction of a MD.....NEVER.

I can give you many examples of how a call went south because of the person not telling me that they were on these drugs. Most people do not wish to talk about sex life issues with a complete stranger, and even less so in an emergency.

My advise, and you asked for it, if you have a health concern...SEE YOUR DOCTOR. He/she will help you...that is what you pay them for.

is that they have to cover their asses 24/7. it's rare that you will find an MD who will speculate about over-the-counter medications untested by the FDA.

most over the counter viagra clones use ephedra in one form or another, so there's risk involved especially if you have blood pressure problems. i have tried several products myself, and found that with Stamina Rx, i can pound a railroad spike through a 2 inch board for about 48 hours. hope that helps :-)

I would also recommend Stamina RX, I found it to be safe reliable, however even though I am approaching 60, I've never had any health problems. It is reasonably price (as compared to Viagara or the others)and can be found at "Fascinations", if you have one in your area.

However, may sure it is not other types of non-medical problems before you indulge.

1) Tribulus Terrestis (herbal)... I use to get the one by syntrax (www.syntrax.com) called Fuzu .. but it's out of stock. It really works and I'm still waiting for Syntrax to have it in stock (it's under their product category called Ergogenic. So, you might want to go to vitamin shoppe or GNC and try Tribex or other Tribulus products.  This increases your natural free testosterone and it will get you going. FUZU and TRIBEX are very famous among bodybuilders for raising testes the natural way.

2) The other natural testosterone booster is peanuts. If there's one food that will get your natural testosterone up .. it's peanuts. I've tested that. Peanut butter will work.

3) Intense exercise can raise testosterone levels.

These are all natural.

Uuuuhhhmmmm....I'm a new "hobbiest" I guess, since I just joined this site, but I am a prostate cancer survivor and I'm concerned about any advice that promotes the use of testosterone enhancing drugs or supplements.  Please see your doc and have blood drawn for your PSA.  If you are at risk for prostate cancer, an increase in testosterone just ups your chances of developing those bad boys that ended up having me carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey.  Hate to rain on anyone's parade but this site seems to be oriented to support of both hobbiest and providers so thought I'd add my two cents.

My doctor won't prescribe Cialis because it hasn't been used long enough. This is the kind of person you want for this kind of advice. Don't put your health in the hands of a Chinese importer of herbs. Get in shape first, then see your doctor for Viagra. Only use a small amount (25mg or less) to avoid the hangover and flushed face.
