Like him all you want. I couldn't understand his singing, and I was wearing headphones. I have positive bones. I'm positive I don't like the singer.

I'm a big fan of good, meaningful lyrics, and enjoy good acoustic playing. Dunno that this had either.

[I’m sure there is a place warmer than here, but until I find it] “I’m hiding behind this smile” towards the end of the song may offer a sliver of hope and make it more human. Just saying, but if some want to brood in total-sad song mentality, there is always a place for it and that is why they are written and sung (Just look at some Lana Del Ray songs).

I won’t comment on precise pronunciation with a Kurt Cobain wannabe voice, but maybe he could vary his vocals in tone, pitch and intensity, and particularly express more angst in the later verses, as this effect seems like the direction and the build-up caused from one suffering from this inner turmoil—the dude has potential, though

Why is a song with emotion, 'sad' to you, that's my whole point with you. It's not. It's beautiful for some who care to not look at it half cup empty and who equate sad to negative. Beauty comes in many flavors of music. It's meant to evoke all kinds of feelings, no matter how they are felt.
