Since there is no universal answer to this question, my suggestion is to keep your weight at a level that makes YOU happy.

As for my opinion, since you asked, lol At 125-130 I personally would hope that you are at least 5' 7" to be of the ideal height/weight proportions for me. This too would vary upon your body type as some women at 5' 7" would look downright scrawny at 125 lbs and others would like a bit chunky, but since you asked, that is my general opinion.

My last two clients have made a comment about my weight.  One of the guys was really big and tall, the other was average size, but the big guy said I was a little too thin, and the other guy commented at dinner how little I eat and no wonder I'm so thin.  I am not that damn thin.  I weigh like 125-130 but am tall.  If I do put on weight, it doesn't go to the right place- it turns into cottage cheese ass or love handles.

What size exactly is "too thin" and what is your preference on weight?  I'm starting to get a lil complex.  Maybe I need to start pouring gravy on everything :0

People who are anorexic see themselves as fat even when they're actually emaciated.  If I were you'd I'd make sure people know what to expect re your looks so they are not concerned or disappointed.  To me, this is just like any other physical characteristic.  Some will like you they way you are, some won't.  So the only issue is, if they've done their homework right they should know what to expect and not be surprised.

...prior to the date.  Perhaps if your photos haven't been updated recently, you might consider doing that? Also, make sure they're a fair and accurate representation.  Just a thought; you may already be doing these things.

As for the dude commenting on your eating habits: that's just simply rude and that comment was made in super poor taste.  Your eating habits are your business, not anyone else's.  I mean, that goes for anyone.

As far as weight preference, different people look for different things. There's a market for damn near every body type out there.

People who would never say to an overweight person "You eat like a pig, no wonder you are fat" feel perfectly comfortable telling someone who is thin "you eat like a bird, no wonder you are skin and bones"

Yes, there are double standards everywhere you look.

And probably at your doctor's office. If you are within the normal bmi range, and in good health, why worry?

As far as being a provider and what clients like, everyone is different. If your pictures are accurate, and you are honest about your height and weight, then the guys who like that look will gravitate towards you.

So commenting on thinness typically isn't the same as commenting on one being overweight.
When I lost weight, I got tons of comments about it, including people who saw me at work with my lunch and commented "oh, now I understand how you've lost weight."  Or hell, some even DID comment that they they thought I was losing "too much" weight and needed to stop dieting.  Or even, "have you been sick?" someone said with a concerned look. While some comments crossed over the line, none were AT ALL comparable to the insults that can be hurled at the overweight (experienced this end of things once or twice too).  This is because, thinness is generally seen as good, so if you say somesome is getting too thin, IMO it often just means you think they are taking their good eating discipline and exercise habits just a little too far and should back off.  When you criticize someone as being fat, there is no silver lining, it usual implies you think they DON'T have self discipline, etc.

Okay, I probabaly rambled on too long over a very small point here, kinda splitting hairs about the different levels of "true" insult in various comments - but I do think there is some difference!

If you start thinking you need to put on weight because two johns make comments like this then you regret it.  Doesn't seem too smart to me to let anyone else, including us, dictate what your weight should be.  That should be between you (what makes you feel best and look best in your eyes) and your doctor (is what makes you feel best actually healthy).

If I can clearly see your hip bone from 100 years away, maybe you are too thin.

You are thin at that htw ratio... but it is close enough that it could look good on you, know what I mean? Depends on your body. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have an eating problem and/or health problems.

I could understand a guy making a comment on not eating much at a dinner... but it is still rude what he said. I use to hear that all of the time til they saw how much I do eat heh heh. I personally do not like eating with someone who can't eat a good size portion.

Up until a few years ago I was a buck five-buck ten, no matter what I ate I couldn't gain weight. Now in the past five years, I gained a little (typically a buck twenty-buck thirty depending on the day of the week lol) and it all went to chest and butt. I feel better about myself having a little more weight on me and having a good shape, rather than flat pancake butt lol. I use to hate the skinny comments and get uncomfortable about it. I didn't like being super skinny at all. Now I am in the proper bmi and I enjoy it, much happier.

It's not just about whether you are thin (lacking body fat BMI wise) or not. If you are athletic and pack refined muscles, that's where is at (of course very hard to maintain).

Someone who is thin with like A cup and absolutely no ass, I get what they mean. But even ass is really muscle so...

Don't worry about being too thin or not. Work on your muscle tone in your body (including abs which is sexy as hell). And NO ONE will complain.

percent body fat versus lean mass makes a huge difference in weight and appearance, as does body frame size. BMI is meaningless for a muscular/fit person with low body fat, because bone and muscle mass is so much denser than fat mass

some feel it's ok to call a thin person too thin, skinny, malnourished etc, yet feel it's not ok to use unflattering adjectives to describe someone overweight. The message is to forget labels and what others think, love yourself and screw what others think.

The OP in MN (and I'm not him) started the thread in question, but Tidwell made it a train wreck.  That is the truth despite his refusal to admit it.  Please notice how he conflates a couple of issues and ends up posting that I support harassing women, which of course I don't.   He has no idea who I am and he makes such leaps of logic that they are truly mind boggling.  But we see here how twisted he really is.

The woman in MN he refers to did report on that Board that someone was harassing her, that's wrong and she was offered advice on how to deal with it including reporting it to TER Admin.  Anybody can read her OP and the response posts.

That thread in question started as a NCNS post and when the provider posted to the thread several MN posters commented. When you get to the middle of the train wreck thread you will see that once Tidwell weighs in trying to WK the lady he starts making accusations against other hobbyists (just like he did here) and all hell broke loose.

As to how I know so much about the thread, well ok, I read, carefully!  Upon careful reading, it becomes quite clear  Tidwell called out a couple of respected MN board hobbyists and accused them of being bad clients, thus the train wreck.  When he did that, others set him straight and asked him to go away.

And now, the same here.  Rod, is a troubled man simply based on his posting history.  No one goaded him on the MN board, he simply went off and the others there defended themselves, just as many of you would do.  To those on this board who read this post, I hope you understand I'm not trying to attack Rod Tidwell, but I am calling him out for his outrageous behavior.  We all need to see it for what it is in my humble opinion and I know many here already do.

Posted By: RodTidweLL
She never said 'go away' or gave a "gentle reminder as you put it.

I didnt start the trainwreck this guy did (link below)

BTW the way the psycho you guys are defending stalked the poor girl and sent threatening emails. That thread is also on the Minnesota board. Maybe you're him or maybe you approve of stalking and threatening emails.

You seem to know Sooooooooo much about this story, but you missed the thread about him sending threatening emails just two threads up? Weird!

Keep supporting stalking and threatening of the ladies,I'll be fine with my stance.
