Just wondering how many of you Hobbyists & Providers have attended one.. What do you all find alluring about it that you attend, do you meet potential providers/clients?   I'm thinking about attending my first one this upcoming weekend (in another city if I can switch my schedule around) but kinda nervous about it...  Idk what to expect... There are ones in my city but I'm not comfortable attending them....  Just curious....... 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Seems the gals go hoping to generate some interest aside from the usual ads here and on other malls.

If I attend one of these so called "Meat and Greets" and I chat with an older, BSC type, am I obligated to also provide my photo to her as well for verification later?

and I guess you get out of it what you put into it. I went in to have a good time, so I did. others may not have gone in with that mind set, and probably didn't have a good time. Reminded me of any one of dozens of work-related cocktail parties I've attended... albeit with much more interesting conversations!

I can't risk the exposure given my profession. FatElvis is right. I don't have a clue as to the identity of any of the providers who attend these events, and I certainly don't want them to know mine

to many of the same pose and lately to light and no color on many .. saw a colored girl looked like Michael Jackson sister ..  the chubby girls ruined him, he sold us out with his cropping shaved way to many lbs off quite a few . not realistic at all . just my opinion

 As far as an M&G I would maybe consider it...but nahhhh, only if it was a super hot intimate upscale cocktail party. I mean top notch Danny lol. Then perhaps. But probably still....nah. Someone really clever would have to convince me to go. The only reason I would ever go would be so the OTC gentlemen could see my dashing smile of course, but then again, maybe not. It's really just a glorified peep show, so no thanks. Like scoping out 'meat'. Hilarious.  
   
 The more I think about it, I think I'll save the scoping for the gentlemen who book. Wink wink.

all my own stuff, edit and make all my own videos and website...made that decision from day 1. Won't ever use a Pro (or what is considered one) while I'm here. Not necessary. I got a tripod, a camera and a noggin'. I'm good.

the girls are requesting certain photos its just that theyre choosing the wrong ones at times .. church takes some great hip photos for younger girls .I think they may look at other photos and try to duplicate the look but often that's the wrong route  

You need a pro to do that editing.

And I mean no disrespect to those of you who, for a variety of valid reasons, would never be comfortable doing it.
As for me, as I've said, I don't have any of those constraints.  I've been to about a dozen M&Gs and also helped with some of the hosting, mostly in NY and twice in LV.  For me, they're a lot of fun.  I love meeting gals "in the flesh," which makes doing your homework much easier.  And I've subsequently sessioned with many of them.
For example, at the Vegas M&G on AVN weekend I met several stellar gals and in the next few days saw two of them.  Both were outstanding.  And, while I certainly don't go to meet fellow mongers, I've met more than a few that have become friends.  M&Gs are a very interesting little subculture of  this "floating world."

...So far I've been to one about 6 weeks ago. I thought it would be a good way to meet some providers I was interested in and see them face to face. I also wanted to see a few favorites and catch up. It is a good place and time to connect with new people with a common interest. It was simple fun with food, drinks, and conversation. I did meet some ladies I was interested in and have had a session with one already. I have a couple more in the planning stages. I was able to reconnect with a favorite that is now UTR and got a number so I can see her sometime.

since photoshoped pics become a thing of the past when you can meet the ladies first-hand. It is a great way to mingle in order to see who you might want to meet BCD at a later date.

...that didn't happen at the one I attended. Though of course I wasn't aware of everything that happened but that's true at any function. Thing is there has been nothing mentioned about that kind of stuff after the fact and you figure someone would have brought it up.

At some there's no hanky-panky at all.  At others there's lots.  Be prepared to swing both ways or don't go.

I've been there and seen plenty. it totally depends on the host and the rules he/she sets up.  Even then, who knows what's happening in the bathroom? Wild shit sometimes.

resoectful are there some morons from time to time sure . however for the most part the guys just want to mingle otc with some female friends .

4 since May 2013. So obviously I'm not short o cash, lol.

I think by using dierent ones it gives guys a wider perspective than i I shot with just one.

And no rigging wisecrack about me missing a certain letter, I know it looks ucked up and my computer dude is on vaca until Thursday.

That's just my take on it. And I spend a LONG time getting ready to attend a M&G, because YES I have proessional pic and I'm one o those older broads, lol.

Having attended dozens of them over the years, in NYC, Connecticut, Boston, DC, Florida, and Vegas, I continue to attend because it's a night out with lots of providers on hand.   Yes, it has been an excellent way to meet ladies, and I've met with plenty of them subsequently for playtime.  In fact, most of my favorites that I see on a recurring basis I originally met at these events.  

So they hijacked the thread to an extent, while posting their reasons why they wouldn't.  Hey, if that's where they're at, cool by me.  I've always said that "It's your hobby...hobby the way you want to."  Simple and succinct.  That applies to both hobbyists and providers, and it's amazing how many don't get this..

It's not the end of the world ya know. You apparently suck at math too. Shame but common on this board LOL.  

off the top of my head. Long day yesterday. My brain was a bit fried. Oh well I guess you're right, funny is in the delivery. I forget where I am sometimes. You can spank me too....ha, JK.

Food and drink has always been decent too.

always meet a provider or two, that I eventually hook up with. Nerves are natural for the first one, but once you've been to a couple that will subside. The host/hostess has a lot to do with the atmosphere and success of the M&G.  I stopped attending M&Gs where I live and only attend M&Gs out of town.  

I find it great venue to meet providers you would like to see and gets the reference check out of the way. Besides, when you set up date,  both know a bit about each other.

Just happened to be traveling to a city on biz and noticed they were having a M&G while I was there so made the necessary arrangements. Sadly there were only 6 ladies who showed compared to the 40+ guys so very little opportunity to talk w/ the ladies (guys were lined up). Was told by a couple of the more experienced hobbiests in attendance that others had done a better job making arrangements. Left disappointed. Ah well, maybe next time...
