I've been hobbying a little over 2 years, and still find myself getting very nervous meeting a lady for the first time. By the time we are about to meet, I'm pretty certain that I'm going to do or say something incredibly stupid. So far, I don't think that's happened, but that doesn't mean that it won't. I seem to get a little tremelo in my voice, and it's not uncommon for me to trip over things that aren't there. I even get nervous on the phone. Is this just part of the screwball in me, or do these things happen to other guys too? And ladies, can you sense this, is it really noticable when a guy is really nervous?

I enjoy frisson, etc. as part of the experience.  I step outside myself a little, helps to give perspective.  Ultimately, if I have to, I fall back on the fact that I am the customer, and if I am respectful and civil, the rest shouldn't really matter.

I have not had my first meet up yet,  I am looking for the first one though.  Not many in my area. I will not no what to do.lol

with some of the ladies of this hobby leave me VERY NERVOUS.  Some of these ladies have nothing but my respect and admiration.  They are accomplished in their own rights (OUTSIDE of the hobby).  Recently a divorced mom I know commented to me that on a 1st date with a gent, he told her that she was intimidating to him... because she supported herself and two GREAT kids...  She then went and indulged herself by buying a sports car... she asked how I liked the car... I commented that it did nothing do diminish her intimidation factor..!  lol!  but seriously - she is not a provider - but when I look at the ladies I have been with in this hobby, they would absolutely iintimidate this guy!  what a thing to say!  Me?  I like intelligent people (male or female) who have something to say - and intelligence has NOTHING to do with the number of degrees one has nor the length of time one spent in school - but rather how one thinks about solving real problems and the outlook on what life has to offer.

but still - nervous?!  with some - you bet.  it is when I am not nervous that the session tends to go south!

Do the ladies ever get nervous around us... that is the question!

There are some of us who should make the ladies extremely nervous.

But a good provider knows how to make it all disappear :) Am I right?

Being a little nervous isn't a bad thing. Those little nervous butterflies in your tummy..those are really yummy!!  It just means it's still exciting!!  Sooo, ddddon't wwworrry abbbbout being nnnervous.

you are 100% right. I have been very lucky with the ladies I've seen. They have known how to put me at ease. Thanks, Kelly.

I think, for me, it's a combination of nervousness and excitement. Can't seperate them out or tell the difference. Even with my ATF I still sputter and stammer, and trip, and lose my balance from being light headed. I try to hide the tremelo by saying as little as possible, at first. The special one's, inspite of all of that make me feel like I'm so suave, and such a hot lover. I know better, but it still feels fantastic.

I see a provider I have seen before.  I guess that's all part of hobbying, at least that's what I tell myself each time.

I've been in it about as long as you have hungry.
So don't feel like you are alone in your nervousness.  It hits, I would venture to say, the majority of us more than once.

Even with 'seasoned' veterans..
I get 'nervous' guys a lot.. It is understandable as they may have never had an encounter with my niche..

But they are soon at ease when they quickly discover that I am indeed just a girl, nothing more nothing less..

On the note of 'nervousness' I am nervous when I meet 'new' guys.. You never know till you meet..

build up prior to a date whether it be a date with a lady I have seen before or a new lady.  I compare it to the feeling before a game when I played sports.

But, if you picked the right lady, it will almost always work out.   Personally, I'm sitting here this Sat. morning anticipating meeting a lady soon that I've been going back and forth with via e-mail and PM's for a couple of month's...what a way to end Super Bowl victory week! :)
