how much makes it worth your while.  I have seen ads where the the lady is in town for just a couple days...and that usually means after 3pm one day until before noon the day after next.  this is piggybacking off a post below about visiting ladies canceling..I had the same happen to me twice with the same provider, but she did let me know.

One lady cancelled the day before I left. The other when I arrived. Had already done some homework on possible backups. Had a great time and saved a lot of money. Always have a plan B. These ladies are flak

It's hectic, I would try to catch the provider before she departs and not on the sameday she arrives or the same day she leaves so in my opinion the 2nd day would be the best and less likely she won't cancel.

Just my opinion but what do I know? ;)

...ever posted asking you how many days you have to stay in Dubuque, Iowa to make your trip selling shower curtain rings worthwhile?

...... or a date-count as to "how many" in a day or week.

But I will tell you this: when I begin truly "touring"  I'll be looking to keep my weekly averages the same as at home.   Based on local costs, my rate might need to be higher in certain locations than it is at home in order to keep my overall profits about the same without seeing more clients than I would at home.

I should mention that I'm doing the travel thing to TRAVEL.... It's not something I am doing to make more money than I am now, but more something that I want to do, and am fortunate enough to have this opportunity.  :-)

Well, because it's more likely that I will be buying her goods than she will be my shower rings.

Thanks for such a reasoned answer, and I get the travel to TRAVEL thing and that makes sooo much sense.  Now, for me, I don't get why we don't get more quality ladies traveling to Hilton Head?

...2 hours scheduled for every 12 hours I am in that city OR triple what it cost me to get and stay there. Yep...that makes sense to me.

Otherwise, seeing a new city is always exciting enough for me!

The exact same thing as you lol...
I decided to stay for 6 days, 7 nights so that I could make a profit and also see the city.
I ended up only having 4 dates. I had another one pre booked but he flaked and I got mad at him. I never flake.
Actually, it ended up working out so that I kind of fell in love with the city itself and did a lot of my own things around there and still even missed a couple things I wanted to do lol! I ended up being glad it wasn't busier work- wise because then I would have missed out on seeing the city lol.
I still want to visit the city again but I'd still stay 6 or 7 days, and still wouldn't flake on clients and would be mad if they flaked on me lol!
