Ladies, How Not To Do It

Recently I responded to an ad by a well-established lady touring in my area.  I tried filling our her form on her website, but it didn't work well with Safari, so I sent an email with all of the required information.  After more than 48 hours, there was no response.  I fired up my laptop and filled out her screening form and noted that this was a second try at setting an appointment since I did not receive a response from my email.  A day later, I got a response which appears to be a standard form reply asking for all of the information I previously sent and yet more screening information.  It totally ignored the information I had already sent.  My response: Thanks for your time.  Since you totally ignored everything I already sent, I choose not to set an appointment with you.

I've been seeing escorts for over 20 years and at this point, I don't have the patience to deal with those who don't have their acts together.

Everyone runs their business differently. Find a provider who fits your needs. I don’t have a form on my website for booking. I prefer a personal email with the booking details. I’ve been an escort for over 20 years. I have grown & evolved over these two decades in this wonderful industry. I’m seeking a genuine connect. I am not looking to please everyone who inquires because to me chemistry is a must. Find a provider who respects & appreciates your time. My clients are my friends. They know my real life information because it’s more, than a date. We’re friends with benefits.

Dow-Jones is "up", I get it now.   You're a hobbyist.  Lol

She’s a well reviewed touring girl.., so I can see she’s flooded with a ton of inquiries that maybe her booker just can’t handle.
So Yeah I can see you loosing it but best to move on.
On a side note, this is why I avoid touring ladies. They become the “it” girl for that city and all the fan mail comes in and your request gets lost in the mad rush.

I agree, but this is also a great time to remember to book in advance. I start advertising when I am touring a month in advance. I had every one of my spots filled over a week ago. I have gotten about 20 appointment requests since I have been in Milwaukee. You might be able to find someone with availability that is high end or low end, but the middle of the road gals are more than likely going to be pre booked. I personally despise forms so I request info be sent also by email.

It sounds like you got an auto reply which is fairly common. Are you saying that the reply asked for additional verification that she didn't mention on her website/ads? IOW I am wondering if she added more intrusive verification requirements on her auto reply and she hasn't yet updated her website so they match?
This could just have been a snafu on her end and a mistake and not a deliberate attempt to deceive. My general advice in these types of cases is to try again in a few weeks, IF....and I want to stress IF this is a girl you really want to see badly.
I know it's hard but I try and let the situation play out and double back on a girl in a few weeks or maybe months. But it seems like you sent an email to her you might not be able to walk back.
Again, sorry this happened. Some times ladies do act unprofessionally, but sometimes there are other things at play that may give the appearance of unprofessionalism but have a more easily understandable reason if you dig deeper.

I find broken websites all the time. Something like a contact form is almost certainly a plugin, and that plugin is likely not free, or stable, or updated. People think websites are a 1-time expense, because they used to be, but nowadays, most require management to stay working well.

That isn't to say you can't build a site that will last more or less forever, you just can't use wix/squarespace/webx/wordpress to do it, which is 99% of what you're going to get from a webdev if you don't specify any different.

TER Forum Software is an example of needing occasional updating and maintenance. I think that all of TER is home grown and custom written by TER programmers or their outsourced programmers. If some internet standard changes (html rules; java script changes; etc.), you need to update your website.
.
For YEARS, I have suggested that TER switch over to one of the FREE, often Open Source, Forum Softwares that are maintained by large consortiums of programmers who monitor things and fix bugs fairly quickly and so on. See:

and many more.  (Search S&P for "forum;software".)

Sometimes it's better to stick with the devil you know than the devil you don't however.

Specifically in TER's instance, porting over the data would be a nightmare. They may be able to just start anew, or limit the port and archive the rest, which is probably the move, but, far from ideal. They also would need to figure out how to keep their moderation model, which, appears to be done by hand, at least mostly, and that's not the model of any open source forum software that I've come across, which is to say, they'd have to port over that feature, and likely fight someone else's spaghetti to do so, or fork the project, at which point all of the benefit of using an established open source project goes out the window.

That said, I'd assume there are a number of programmers on TER already, some of them are likely talented, and some of those could likely be incentivized to help out. Not really my circus, or my monkeys.

As an aside, who fills out "forms" anymore? It's tanatmount to completing a job application when you're a seasoned professional. "Forms" are in the realm of pimply-faced teenagers seeking work at the supermarket.

I totally understand a woman's need to protect herself but, for a seasoned hobbyist, C'mon, Man!

I provide multiple current references from well-known providers, and P411 information. If that's not enough, I know there are many fish in the sea, and move on.

Back to the subject at hand.
