Quick question:

At what age (if any) do you find a woman immature for sleeping with stuffed animals?  20?  30?  Older?

Also do you find it cute when providers request stuffed animals as gifts?  I used to have on my website that I like a specific stuffed animal (ex: giraffes) and to my joy, received quite a few from clients- which I was able to grow into a collection and kept for years.  One particularly cute one I sleep with to this day.

Thoughts?

Your post reminded me of a college roommate who had a whole collection of stuffed animals.  Every day we would see who could come up with the most obscene arrangements.  It was hilarious!

a sheep named Daisy.  Cute little thing.  I could introduce you, if you want.  You're the last one I would have thought would be interested in this, but then you put up this post.  You should get what you want.  Just trying to help a friend realize his full potential.

If it brings you comfort or joy there is nothing wrong with it at any age as long as you can sleep without it. The ones judging you for it are the ones that are being immature about this. As I said immaturity is in one's actions and attitudesee not in what one literally sleeps with.

I am arguably the least mature person on this board and I am not judging anyone for sleeping with a stuffed animal.

Aside from that, yeah "what you said" lol

I had an "on again off again" relationship with a girl from the time she was 18 until about the time she was 28, thinking back on it she had a stuffed "kitty" that she often slept with, and she would often, but not always bring "kitty" to bed when we slept together too. I never really thought much of it either way. It simply wasn't a big deal to me.

Now if she had been bringing a five foot tall stuffed giraffe to bed with us, THAT might have been a different story. lol

Isn't sleeping with a stuffed animal a type a behavior, too?  I would argue that it might be immature to think they are two different things as you state.  What say you?

It's a comfort thing and if it helps you sleep better at night than I encourage it.  I don't have a stuffed animal but I have a soft blanket I like to snuggle against.  I'm still a weirdo in that I would feel bad for throwing a stuffed animal away or injuring it in some manner.

It is actions of not accepting the consequences of one's actions, acting entitled, and behaving in an  emotionally immature way. Immature acts are generally self centered and can be quite harmful long term. Literally sleeping with a stuffed animal doesn't qualify but actions like demeaning others because they engage in a harmless act does.

And yes you are extremely immature. Yet it seems you are hardly alone. Read this thread as proof. Sadly you come up looking quite mature.

How is sleeping with a stuffed animal NOT self-centered, emotionally immature, and an act of entitlement?  Your examples seem to support what I'm saying.

But I get the part about not demeaning others because they engage in harmless acts.  Blow jobs are mostly harmless, and I would NEVER demean anyone for doing that.  However, sometimes, getting tied down to a table, having a dildo rammed up your ass and hot wax dripped on your balls COULD be harmFUL, but it sounds like you're okay with demeaning people for that kind of stuff, right?

How is sleeping with a stuffed animal self-centered, emotionally immature and an act of entitlement? Lets look at each part in the case we are addressing. Self-centered is being preoccupied with one's self above others. As sleeping with a stuffed animal typically has zero impact or harm on others it doesn't negatively affect anyone yet if she sleeps better she likely will be in a better mood and that can indeed help others. Kind like me eating regularly and healthily is a boon to others as I am much less crabby if well fed. Getting you needs met is not self-centered especially if it harms no one.

Is it emotionally immature? Emotional maturity is defined as the ability to deal with and move past negative emotions and enjoy the positive. As I doubt these stuffed animals cause or prolong negative feeling and in fact  may shorten them it is not a act of emotional immaturity. In fact if the provide comfort and she can sleep without them it actually an act of emotional maturity as part of emotional maturity is the ability to embrace the positive and if these stuffed animal bring her joy they definitely count. Kinda like seeking out a good blow job. Or BDSM done with safeguards and limits between willing partners for that matter if it floats someones boat.

And sleeping with a stuffed animal is an act of entitlement? You are kidding right? She pleased clients to the point they tipped her these animals thus EARNED them. Plus she seems grateful and appreciative of these gifts. She didn't demand them, she did her job and was awarded them. You have a right to what you earn and to what was freely given and being appreciative of what one has is the exact opposite of feeling entitled.

As for judging people for kinks like " getting tied down to a table, having a dildo rammed up your ass and hot wax dripped on your balls" and other BDSM it depends entirely if it is kept safe, consensual and honest then know I don't think it is OK to judge them. I kinda enjoy this stuff by the way. I even make floggers and other sex toys as a hobby.

The only time I feel it is right to be judgmental of people is where people are doing acts that harm others or whose deliberate negligence causes harm. I have been harmed from condescending attitudes so that counts. And yes I am guilty of being unjustifiable judgemental and condescending. It isn't right and I know bringing it up makes me a damn hypocrite. I am working on it thow and that is something even if I struggle with it.

So to answer your question it isn't right to demean someone for kinks that are not your own if they are safe (at least reasonable safe) and consensual.

Well.... There would be little point in demeaning a sheep fucker like you. It would just turn you oo and then...well... Lets just say I would feel guilty to what happens to the poor sheep.
