Just saw an interesting review where the guy says he prefers electronic payment over cash because young guys don't carry wads of cash.  I always preferred to pay in cash because of the lack of a paper trail, no other reason.

I offer CC payments for established and trusted friends, but only have a couple of clients that use that option. Most men still prefer paper.

Other than cash seems careless to me. I'm single, but I still don't want an electronic record somewhere  of my hobbying.

Let me play devils advocate,

I can pay either way or both ways. Doesn't matter to me as credit doesn't scare me. To be honest I prefer credit and the points that go along with it if the option is there. Most girl's that I have see will take credit after the 2nd or 3rd time getting together as they have legitimate businesses and do this on the side for additional income. If your married I understand not leaving a paper trail but if you are single what is the big deal if it's a legit business? So what if the government has a record of it. She's paying her taxes what's the problem? Some people are way to dramatic on these boards.

I would never with a cc why would you want a paper trail! I can see how that might be safer for you girls but I don't ever see me paying with a cc

whom I know very well.  To a newbie, I would never recommend it.

Also, the talk about not carrying money around is a bit unconvincing.  You can stop at an ATM and pick up the cash while on your way over to see her

You do not want to leave ANY kind of a paper trail when doing something illegal.   You want to be as much  of a ghost as you can.  Anything else is, and I don't mean to offend, really stupid.

Even if the paper trail didn't lead to your arrest, you don't want your name on a list of person's of interest.  Get on that list 3 or 4 times and you're building a circumstantial evidence case against yourself.

Instead of using the card to pay for the appointment, go to an ATM and withdraw cash from the card and then pay with the cash.  Its a small inconvenience but way smarter

And either option shouldn't be an issue. Nonetheless, the same goes for the clients as well. Some of us have been burned by counterfeits and charge-backs on cards.

as you leave, you don't know each other.  As it should be.  Just dumb to leave a paper trail.  And from her POV, cash doesn't bounce or get charge backs or other schemes to defraud you of the money you worked for.

Always pay cash, unless there's an incentive to pay credit. Knew a provider who would knock off $100 of the cost of a 2+ hour appointment if you prepaid electronically. If more escorts were like that, then I'd pay electronically more, but why make a 2 party transaction (me and an escort) a 4 party transaction (me, my credit card company, escort, her credit card company)?

I've had several clients do a split payment of cash and say, an AMEX gift card or two, depending on the amount. He doesn't have to worry about explaining a large withdrawal of cash and can use his credit card to buy the gift card. So he could potentially bury it in another purchase if necessary and perhaps earn CC points as well.  

VISA/AMEX/MC gift cards all spend the same.  If he just didn't want to carry a large wad of cash, he can buy some reload cards with cash. That works well for me too

I get a lot of the clients using CC's, electronic transfers such as paypal & similar types.. I like it better then cash, I don't have to make a trip to the bank..  But I have mine set up as a business account for tax purposes...
