I heard today from a provider about a new mobile app verification site called Lux Verify.  You can submit info from you mobile device, get a Lux Verify code and share that with potential dates.  They claim to destroy all your personal info once they verify you.  I wasn't familiar with them.  Anyone out there ever heard of them?  Are they a reputable outfit.  Sounds a lot like the service P411...although specifically for mobile.  App is apparently in the app store by Apple.  Backchannel if you have any info

It is being pushed by TER. The ad is immediately to the right. I even got a PM about it. Other than that, I know zero about it.

And to those who haven't seen it, odds are if you look at the right side of your TER browser window you'll see an ad for "Get Verified" with a hot chick in it - that's the link to the ad.  Doesn't always appear though, and I have no idea why.

It doesn't disclose how it screens at least after you download load or how it works. It cost more than datecheck or P411 both established and more transparent. Having an app on your phone lacks discretion, I really don't care but those who have something to hide that is an issue. No lady I know trust it. I don't see me joining anytime soon.

and I am also with you in the fact that having an app like this on my phone makes even the likes of me a bit uncomfortable. I am perfectly happy with P411, and I plan on sticking with them for the foreseeable future. So count me in the "not at this time: camp as well

Being Ms. Lux Ohio, I'm willing to give it a shot. It's like anything else, time will tell ; ) Just keep an open mind ; ) You can always get a "bat phone" lol, which I recommend for hobbying. Afterall, I have my "Alex" phone and my "*****" phone ; )

That is required for this verification site to work. Just saying.

One that has no camera, is default to dump call & text history, the browser scrubs history & any autofill entries, has a cash refill option with the no contract carriers, and is sold from a separate entity like "The Everyday Ringer" and just happens to come with a one year free VIP membership at TER

I would certainly purchase such a device if TER put it on the market. I'd buy the five year TER membership option if given at a great discount rate.

Alex you have some of the most stringent verification requirements that I have seen: full real name, TER screen name and alias, photos. You seem to have had no trouble finding clients even with these requirements. Would you accept this app's verification as a substitute for your rather detailed process? I saw your picture in the ad for this app.

Nor do I plan on doing so in the future. LV is just another one to add to the list of apps I never plan on buying.

Wouldn't they have to team up with a carrier?

Doubt that many quality carriers would want to team up with what would be deemed a form of  organized crime.

Haven't really had a chance to go thru the tutorial but it seems like a good idea & TER recommended!!!

So long as the frequency is correct, the device can work on a pay as you go carrier.  Just swap SIM cards.

Just don't know how large the market might be.

If I was in the market I'd want a device that was ready to go, a complete phone not a sim card, and a reliable network. Otherwise you don't have a product.

Not to mention, you wouldn't need it if you are already using a pay as you go device.
