Both Jewish.
Both date providers.
Both in the construction buisness.
Both kind of preachy.
He was born in a barn, I was raised in a room    that looked like one according to my mom.

I just hope that I meet a more mellow demise.

He died for our sins.  Sometimes I feel like I died and went to heaven after meeting some of the providers on this board.

Mary :  "son, why don't you marry and settle down?"

JC :  "No, i've already got more than enough pain, suffering and sacrifice ahead of me."

And one has to wonder if his sexual morality really matched the sexual morality the churches' teach.

Due to the churches' later sexual morality and the fact that Mary Magdalen's role in the Gospel has almost no coherency, one is drawn to the conclusion that her role in the Gospels were later excised and repressed.

Humor is one way to underscore this.

I may be a cheating scumrag but I am religious.  Perhaps a paradox, I don't know.

But I for one do believe and this subject is best left to Politics and Religion section, which I don't visit.

Preeminence of Christ
 
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,[c] the forgiveness of sins.
