I don't see any real conflict between the two, and would prefer others not to rag on gals for this.
Many are not artful enough in their posts to keep it subtle. If a girl can get some business by being part of the discussion community, then more power to her. I just find it annoying when it's clear from what they post that self-promotion is the ONLY reason they bother to share their thoughts with the rest of us plebes.

...provider OPs to have a link to their website. But providers who reply to threads are not necessarily advertising. You didn't include a link to your website in your reply. However, some providers DO include a link to their website in every single post. I consider those replies to be threADs. Your way is more subtle - if I want to know more about you, I can click "See My Reviews." You're not hammering me over the head with it.
