Singapore and Bangkok

Hello everyone, looking for some tips about having some fun at Singapore and Bangkok for the next 2 weeks.  I know about the legal brothels, but never been there. Same with Bangkoks many massages parlors.  My first time to these adult candy shops.  Any help or knowledge would help. Do any take credit cards? Or is it cash at both cities? Any tips would appreciated. Thank you in advance !

My info is outdated, but Soi Cowboy was the first of the hot spots.

.
I don't know how Soi Cowboy, Patpong and Soi Nana Tai compare these days.
.
To me, one of the scariest things about that region is the number of incredible katoey (ladyboys).

Some are so beautiful and convincing that you should bring along a DNA testing kit ... if you're concerned about that sort of thing. You can find "M or F?" photo quizzes on the internet. Be prepared to fail.

Re: In Bangkok, most of the action . . . .
is in the Patpong district.

I was underwhelmed with Patpong to be honest. While a bit more expensive I just used Bangkok Angels (agency) and things worked better for me than hitting the bars or MPs. YMMV and night market scene is interesting to observe.

I did do my research on YouTube and IG.  Thanks for the tip. But, I don’t see much about the use of credit cards. I went to the website of TARA and they do accept VISA and MA. But, it doesn’t mention about any fees associated with it.  It also doesn’t mention if the ladies are GFE or BBFS.  I want to go check out these type of Thai soapy massage establishments.
In Singapore, there even less information on the legal sex pallor’s except they are legal and the fees associated to the girls. Again, no mention of credit cards payment and GFE/ BBFS.  Also, are the ladies’s services ore workman like and less Kgirl like we have in LA?  Thanks for the help.  I will post what I find in both Singapore and Bangkok when I return from my vacation.  😀

Personally I'm not sure I would ever use a US credit card to pay for hobby/sex services overseas. You're just giving both the foreign government and the US government a road map to prove that you travelled internationally for the purchase of sex, which can be a federal crime and also a crime in the foreign country. Personally, I think I would just go to my bank or investment org and acquire currency from the country to which you are travelling. Maybe get $500USD per day converted for each day you're going to be there. The ladies will appreciate the cash, you don't need to worry about conversion rates when paying (for instance, say you see a Thai lady in Bangkok and her rate is 30,000THB per day. That converts to +/-$500USD based on the daily rate today. Do you really want to sit in the room and try to do the conversion and potentially have a dispute with her over the conversion rate? That could negatively affect the session. Just easier to have a stack of THB and pay her in her native currency. And, it removes the paper trail from the credit card company to prove that you paid a hooker in another country.

Just my $0.02. Good luck in Thailand. I've had a couple of Thai civvy GFs who I met at one of my golf clubs in Vegas and they are wild in the bedroom. No limits whatsoever.

I was just in BKK last month.  I'd stay away from bars.  They tend to overcharge and aren't as engaged.  Suki was a great time.  https://www.eurogirlsescort.com/escort/suki/552057/?list=kzwmdj.  I've never seen cards used...as the price points are very low.  Most independents are semi-pros.  Have other jobs and looking for some extra cash.  They tend to be more enthusiastic as they don't get many calls.

I haven't been to Singapore so can't really comment, but for Bangkok, anything and everything is on offer, so if you have time dip your toes into everything - bars, massage places, freelancer pick-ups, escorts, etc.

Don't use a credit card as someone else suggested; that's just foolish. Get cash from the ATM for the best exchange rate. Sure, your bank may charge you a fee (but many don't, so check), but still safer IMO than carrying a wad of USD and exchanging in person.

Also Patpong is dead; it hasn't been the go-to for 10+ years; it was on the decline for a while and never really bounced back after COVID. Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza are the two best areas, only about 15 mins walk between them. That entire neighborhood (Sukhumvit) has freelancer bars and massage places everywhere, so concentrate there.

Much more info to be found on the BKK forums on ISG, and at bangkok dash addicts dot com.

PS don't worry about ladyboys. Except for some well known bars, they don't mix in with natural born ladies in the nightlife spots. And they're probably just as worried as you are about a mix-up - they don't pretend to be what they're not. If in doubt, just ask discreetly and politely. They have no reason to lie to you, and it's much safer for them if everyone is on the same page. There are plenty of guys who are into them, so they're not trying to trick anyone to get business.

During day you can hit Eden Club or some of the others on Soi 7. Annies is another which is famous.

Evening I rotate between Nana Plaza bars (avoid the ladyboy bars there, they are obvious) and Soi Cowboy.  Nana has a big roof over the entire area now so rainy season you are good without walking in puddles.

Unless you are going to Pattaya, you can keep yourself busy in bkk for at least a week.  Enjoy

Use credit cards to pay for your hotel, airfare, shopping at established stores (not roadside stands or open sidewalk stands), and non-bar girl restaurants.

Do not use a credit (or debit) card at any place that caters to the sex business. Many of these will prey on drunk horny tourists who are too distracted to see their card get used. The result:  Extra and/or duplicate charges - in the thousands of USD, stolen card credentials, faked signatures, etc.  If you've ever had an unauthorized purchase show up on your card and you had fight hard to get it cleared, imagine how much harder that fight will be if the "merchant" is in a foreign country and charged you for extra pussy!

Bring some cash from home and exchange it for Thai Baht. Contact your bank before you fly and ask what they charge for foreign currency purchase fees, exchange rates, cash advance fees in a foreign country, and ATM fees.  If you need more cash while in country, use the best option identified by your bank.  Finally, bring at least one backup credit and one back up debit card, preferably from a different bank. Not all ATM's ate the same in these countries. Different tech, different laws and regulations, and different transaction networks.
