if they are busy for 5 days

I'm actually contacting several ladies for next days (travelling) and I'm really surprised about how much time is needed for an answer. Obviously a lady can be off for a day or more, but when 2 days become usual to get an answer I'm a bit worried.
I mean, in my business I would never ever let a customer waiting for many hours, let alone days, so I'm wondering how so many ladies need 2 days to answer (in the cell phone years when reading e-mails is a breeze...).
I had an answer after 5 days (obviously I already changed plans), needed a week for a couple of mail exchange and appointment confirmation in another case, still waiting for a final confirmation after a first reply 2 days ago for another...

Ladies and gents, I'm unlucky or is this becoming usual?

Doesn't it seems a yellow flag about a lady being reliable?

You are becoming one of those people.

Is this REALLY what you want to be known here for doing?

...I've gotten responses about a minute after hitting "send"  and also gotten some responses weeks later. And everything in between. Sometimes you never hear anything at all. Some providers have no idea how customer service is supposed to work. All you can do is move on, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. :)

Respond same day.or if its late at night,I will respond the next morning.Lol I had one guy email me for an appointment, and 30min later he said "since you can't reply in a timely fashion,i will spend my money elsewhere."
I just literally got done using the bathroom when I read his email. Some people think we are drive thru's hahaha

Some posts and posters are funny, some are not. WB's new schtick is very UNFUNNY, and it's not something that is going to get any better with repetition.

if a lady (who is a business) is busy for 5 days (on an extended date, on extended time w/family/other job, etc) it takes little time to set an auto reply email stating as such.

if i don't hear from someone within 2 days i move on.  if you ladies insist your time is valuable, i am sorry but i insist the same.

i have to agree w/op;  more than 2 days time to respond to potential business is indicative of not particularly needing that business.  that may not be the message those women are trying to put out, but it is the message received.

i will admit that i have gotten emails more than 2 days after i sent; 99 out of 100 times those emails include an apology for late replies.  those i will pursue.

I have missed a few emails because they were threaded in with other requests.  I always try and reply with an apology.  Perhaps a follow up on your original email?  The internet isn't perfect!

Taking the high road is commendable and will probably serve you well.  But, let's face it, how long does it take to answer an email message?  Will someone please give me a break!

I just do not get it.  What do you think she would do if she got back to you, six months later (OK that is a major exaggeration, for effect), thinking the appointment was hers simply for replying?  She would have blacklisted and called you a time waster because you passed her by and made an appointment with another provider?

Fortunately, my experiences with providers have been amazing and rarely have I had to deal with anything like this.  But providers are human, just like rest of us and sometimes we humans lack common sense, and common courtesy.  Apparently this lady has a very high opinion of herself.  Maybe she is not really up to your standard.

I have initial contact within 24 hours easily (even when not UTR). Once the date is set, I tell them I will send a confirmation message the day before and then one more the morning of before leaving. I give them a general time to expect the messages, too. Now, sometimes people book way ahead and then want to message daily and I will respond but let some days go in between with those messages.

If you are having trouble just getting confirmations, I would consider researching agencies for your trip just to have a Plan B if anyone flakes

someone posting from an alias wants to equate business practices in this world with that of some other world -- presumable the legal world but that is not entire clear.

As most of the advice I've ever seen given to newbies, if you don't get a response move on the another. If all of them are acting a particular way look in the mirror, figuratively I suspect but if you're sending selfies...., and think about what you're doing to make them shy away.

Ladies are carful not to call back often if time has gone by after a guys called like 3 hours or 6 hours depends on time of call. Men often have wives and boss's, co workers, patients and the like. So often we think we are being thoughtful and not causing problems in a guys life.
Sometimes men get the urge and they're not responsible because they're so passionate about thirds we have to be the responsible party as a provider and wait for them to call back take it for me because I have made the mistake of what I just said and omg it was not good.
So keep calling my friend. :) don't take it personal .
Take it as kindness

Even when I've been super busy I've never let what I felt to be a legit inquiry go more than 2 days without a reply.
And vast majority of the time I actually respond in ehhh 4hrs or less even when i'm having a busy day.

I'm with you on this I don't think I should take more than a day tops I think and a half to get a response that would make me move onto the next one.  Unless of course the girls on vacation or is her day off even if it's a quick reply to get the ball rolling if you're not answering at least within a day or two I'm moving onto the next one

every lady is different.I always answer my emails in a timely fashion same day or if late evening early the next morning.
Perhaps the provider who took 5 days to get back to you was on vacation or not available for work.
Some providers have day/evening civy jobs and cannot check emails too often.
Perhaps the providers you are contacting is not very good with responding in a timely fashion.
Not very hard to send a very short email saying "Hey I saw your email thank you for your interest please allow x amount of hours or days for a response."That way at least you would know the email was received.

You're obviously LOW PRIORITY on her list. So is your patronage.

Maybe find somebody that values and appreciates you more?

Maybe the time is attributed to what they would need to verify you as a safe hobbyist.  What is usually the turnover that it would take for them to here back from your references? That is why being a member of a verification service in a lot of cases makes that part of the process expedient. Nine times out of ten if you have that then getting that answer should be quick. Now a lot of women just give their email address.  If you have to write them since they wouldn't give a phone number till after verification with your references email address, then it will take more time. If you can give the references phone number, then they should be get back in touch with you much more expediently.   Those are critical questions that one should ask when the response is slow.

Guys to please and service. A lot of us make money in other ways which means our phones aren't always on and we aren't checking our hooker boxes every 1 second.

Just like when guys contact us and never reply after we've hit them right back quickly. Nobody is crying about it. You're  either going to be blocked or she's going to think you're busy. Either way she is going to move on and make her money elsewhere.
I swear to gawd, humans destroy everything. This is a hobby that is ocean sized and we are the fish. Both provider and hobbyist make this ocean what it is. But the way most post, it seems as if this is a lake or small man made pond. Where options are slim and there is much to complain about. Smh.

Especially if someone is inquiring about a date weeks or even months in advance.

It's sort of a triage approach: I scan through my emails/texts and those looking to meet in the next 24-48hrs receive immediate attention.  Then I move on down the list.

Unfortunately, sometimes I get busy with other things, including actual sessions, and it can be a day or two before I respond.

This is even more likely when I'm touring.

Because of some emails/PMs which slipped through the cracks of my imperfect system, as well as other miscellaneous factors, I am seriously considering getting an assistant.  ;-)

The Chinese stuff was funny, which lasted about the first 4+ minutes, the rest of the act kind of bored me and I tuned out at about the 6 minute mark.

I only do this as my own personal playtime. Which I need and crave, but I have my own life too.

Otherwise, I am jetsetting to music festivals (which means no cell service or electricity for 4-5days) or I am trying to hop countries in Europe, which I definitely won't be checking my email.

We all have our own lives.

There are some guys who message OMG CAN I SEE YOU THIS WEEK, I CAN ONLY DO WEDNESDAY AT 8PM then you respond within minutes and they never write back, or they do 4 months later, HEY ARE YOU IN TOWN? seriously... *eyeroll please.

We all have our reasons to be busy, just move on, and find ladies that are available :) There are SO MANY of us !!!
Best of luck !!
