I recently went to a talk given by an industrial psychologist who discussed how people rate and remember experiences. Something he said really stuck with me since it matched my own experiences and I thought it might (or might not) be useful to this community, especially the ladies.

He basically said there are some people who are really good at understanding how much fun they are having through an experience, and rating that experience based on the total amount of fun. But that's unusual. What most people (80%+) do when rating an experience, or remembering it, is take the average of the high point and the end point.

This made sense to me. I've had great sessions, was writing the 10/10 review in my head, and then when it was over I suddenly felt a bit let down. And I really think it was a sort of awkward last five minutes that did it.

So I guess the takeaway here is if you want great reviews and memories, give a great session (or give it all at the hight of the session) and then don't forget the very end - a kiss, a feel, maybe a quick shower together and a hand when dressing, an offer of homemade cookies for the road (someone recently did this for me, and it was awesome), a nice text. Whatever.

I try to rate a provider based on the overall experience, but I agree that starting and ending in an exceptional (memorable) fashion can make a good impression.

Until after awhile, what you remember bears very little resemblance to what actually happened.

Now, whether or not the claim is true -- most average the high and the end to complete their assessment I don't know but impressions do matter and the one made as the session ends probably is important in terms of how a girl is reviewed. I'm sure it won't fix a bad session, poor service or farting you your face during DATY but it probably will get a rounding up effect.

No, I never have because then I'd be acting, and I prefer to just do what comes naturally.  I'd say I draw from real life experiences, but not from any films I've acted in.  I know this may be difficult for people to believe...but I don't compare men, and go by their looks.  Each person has an inner beauty, I seek, which far exceeds any physical trait in my eyes.
