i hate going into a store with hobby business to be done.  You have to take off your ring, make sure you have no name tags on, put on your confident face and be prepared that they are assuming you are doing something illegal or unethical or both, because you are, etc.  I feel like a slimy cheating piece of shit, which I am, but I don't acutely feel it until I walk into such a business, like the burner phone store.  I couldn't refill the phone online so I had to show up and pay for a new SIM card and transfer over the contacts etc.  And when the chick hands me back my phone, having seen my contact list which has descriptions like "blonde with big tits" etc., her smirk says it all.

Yeah I'm just an old dinosaur at this point.  Believe it or not I never have heard of these apps, or maybe I did in passing.   Looking into it though it seems like it's unsafe in that a provider or their assistant could call your phone using your second number and your spouse might pick it up.  Or they discover the app on your phone or within your app purchase history. Am I wrong about that?  Or is that just the risk you live with?  

Trust me on this, the reaction from the male clerk is  only slightly less skewed then the female one.  And it's hard to turn down the one who approaches you in the store and say "no I'd rather have a guy help me".  Sexism and all that.

I just use a TrakFone.  Apps?  What Apps?  I just input the gal's number & push send.  I delete all before I leave a date.  If I lose the phone, it's clean.  Burner Phone Store?  WalMart.  Any Gas station.  Buy service/minutes as needed

That's basically the same as mine.  I leave a contact list so I don't have to keep re-entering the same info.  Leave no info on it otherwise and no actual identifiers.

I recently discovered hat the burner phone I purchased from walmart...also uses an funky alias name when people see your name pop up for an incoming call (not intentional on walmart end I'm sure...but get for a provider).

You get bust of a provider and her black book is compromised, not hard to identify you.
