Hello Darlings!

I'm curious to know if you've ever wanted to get revenge on an ex by either looking flawless, becoming very successful, or getting a hotter new partner?

I saw my ex this weekend and totally SLAYED them with my new do & duds the expression on their face was priceless....

Their jaw dropped and said my Civvie name with both shock, awe, and discuss... *evil laugh*

As the writer and public speaker Fran Lebowitz says "I absolutely believe in revenge.." "Any chance you have for revenge...take it"

Revenge does not have to be completely vindictive but man does it feel good when it's this understated and perfect.

Successful people are driven by either revenge or passion.

Kisses,
Miss Lola Luxe

As for myself? No, revenge has always struck me pretty much as a gesture, and by that I mean it never puts any money in my pocket or improves my lot in life to any noticeable degree. However, it sometimes gives me increased pleasure to fuck the wife of a fool I don't like very much. Does that count?

Also, "Revenge of the X-Wives" would be a great title for an Action-Thriller.

... not revenge anyway.  I go with passion, though.  My self esteem is more driven by how I feel about me, not how others feel.

I don't think your ex would be so jealous if he knew how you paid for those "duds". Obviously he knows that you don't have a real job or a college education to back it up, so he may already know that you are hooking.
Materials do not make the woman nor do they transition a girl into one.

Nope she always knew about my sex work! She just likes pretty women :)

And I met her at our university. I don't ever put a partners sex health at risk without them
Knowing what I do professionally and people that do are childish they should just wait until they're out of the game if their partner has a problem with it. But I only hang out with artists who have a different relationship to sex.

You may have looked so ridiculous that your ex was embarrassed he ever dated you.

No I've never dressed in drag to impress my ex.

Yes, I'm a designer and painter! Do you have a favorite art movement you enjoy? Or artist you enjoy? Let me know!

My favorite movement is Impressionism and I love Degas. The thought of making the everyday extraordinary is very exciting!

Is that what you studied in 'university?' My fave artist is that dude Vargas who did the Playboy nudes. Was always sad though we never saw any slit though.

Yes that's why it's so easy to be honest about being an escort because performance artists (and regular artists) are wild.

The old playboy nudes from the 70s are the best!
I wish I could PM you a list of great artistic nude photographers. I don't want flood this thread with that :/

Myself, I enjoy a bit of revenge now and then, but I'm not proud of it.  I suppose that would make some deem me lower and coarse, but while revenge has a certain zest, like a bacon sandwich, it does do much for you long term.

The best revenge, as the saying goes, is living well.

I do my best to honor that maxim.

The negative energy brought on by revenge will eventually destroys you. Best revenge is, when you walk, you walk, never look back or think about any of it. Makes your life simple and happy.

I have two cousins. Both with multi degrees in art. Very expensive Masters from one of the top institutes. Neither is working. Parents prolly spent $250K each on their degrees. Half million total. Now they sit around doing very little. Won't teach. Won't go to work at entry level in a museum. Such work is beneath them. But they complain a lot about how "the system has screwed them." Maybe they should hook. I'll suggest it next time I see them. They're both hot. If the 'system' is gonna screw you may as well get paid for it right? Haha

Back in my day, really not that long ago I'm early 40's, we studied things that got us good jobs so we could afford p4p. Maybe they shoulda picked 'Women's Studies' or even 'Enviro Justice.' Maybe then they could go to work for the gubmint. Sorry. I digress.

Love the 70's Vargas work no doubt.

if one has to resort to this kind of emotional reaction to make themselves feel better is not someone I want to be around.

Your age, and lack of maturity are becoming more and more clear with every word you type.

Panthera nailed it when he said "high school" I guess the rest of us should remember that high school for you could not have been more than a year or two ago, and your mentality hasn't changed a bit since.

By even giving two fucks what other people think about you gives them a certain power over you, I don't give people that kind of power over me. It's just like when talking to you, I really don't give a flying fuck what your opinion of me is, thus you have ZERO power over me. See how easy that is?

BTW please don't start another PM exchange with me, only to block me when you don't like my responses, that is just one more example of your childish behavior.

and not to prolong this agony, but just what have you done that makes you so happy, and wanting to rub someone nose in it?

"Revenge" is alive and well, and demonstrated by the attire many women choose to wear for pleading their case.

I once worked the courts daily. The line of women going through security for "Family Court" was like a fashion show of casual-sexy for MILFS & Cougars.

They'd give an arm for a chance to get an entry level job at a museum, but those are like the proverbial hen's tooth.

One is now in retail and the other works on a dairy farm.

Such is life in the USA in the 21st Century.  I guess we're going to have to get used to it.

Well, they went after those degrees by choice. I'm sure they had fun obtaining them. Someone sure worked hard for the $ that paid for them. And now it's everyone else's fault they don't have a 6 figure job putting those degrees to use. While the sit at home bring supported by their parents.  Awesome.

I always felt it wise to think of one degree as your work papers, but you really only learn one four-year span of understandings in getting a degree, and most of what you use comes from daily sources. So to spend too much time fretting about making a living, or more, seems to defeat the purpose of being alive.

The arts, in general, grounds you in your own time as well. But the grounding includes openness to all the day-to-day changes that the world goes through and even allows you to participate in change.

I wouldn't pine and sigh too much for the poor cousins who seem to have lost their chance at nice Lomanesque lives. They get something else instead.

Wanting revenge would mean that I would actually care about what that person thinks of me.  I don't care what my ex thinks...it would be a waste of energy.  Live and let live.

A guy who starts chasing me seems to chase me when I'm not showing off, or I give the vibe that I just don't care - because I actually don't.

I actually start looking better when I feel better about myself. I start dressing like I like to dress  wearing the colors I like, styling my hair the way I like, walking the way I like, etc etc.

My walk, my talk, my swag, my love spell, my creativity, and my confidence in my ability to look good is affected when a guy is whispering comments on my lacking in my ear. Maybe that's why I feel ugly with them and gorgeous when they leave. It's like a drug addiction. It makes you feel so good, but it ruins you in the end.

Stay far away from a guy if you feel unattractive with him. If you felt like shit the whole time you were with him - enough to feel more beautiful when you weren't - he was toxic. I bet you were just as hot then as you are now. You just feel more beautiful because he's not influencing you.

BUT fuckin awesome feeling I'm sure. Just don't even acknowledge him!!!

They probably don't notice because they didn't even notice how their words affected you. The sayer only feels it for the moment, the receiver feels it a lot longer if they don't catch that that other person has no fucking clue what they're talking about.

They are ONE person out of billions. Who are they to tell another person what they're worth? They're here today, gone tomorrow. Nobody knows shit about anyone else's destiny, and don't even know their own.
