but one of the reasons for my good cheer here is the anticipation of slapping some mangina around. for posting stupid shit Or at least playing a good round of "whack a troll"
I am not sure what that makes me, but somehow I doubt that it makes me a mangina. lol
BTW you did explain why you proclaimed yourself the "Pope of Manginas" but you never did explain why you insisted that I had claimed that Charlie Sheen spoke for all the guys here, when it was obvious that I had not. Care to fill us in now?
Recently, I was feeling happy-go-lucky and posted a comment on the difficulties in finding creative solutions for waking up alone with morning wood. In it, I used the word cheerful. A few posts down the line, someone--can't remember who, or I'd name names like Handjob keeps begging me to do--responded to my second use of the word "cheerful" by informing me that no woman on this board was cheerful, or at least that only a few scattered souls could be described that way.
I started thinking that maybe, as far as that goes, I might be the only MAN on the board who experienced life with a cheerful disposition. Shortly thereafter, IRL, I lost a bet on an entirely different sequence of posts. The deal was, that if I lost, I would have to proclaim myself The Pope Of Manginas on the same board. So, you know me, always looking for patterns where I'm quite sure none exist, I began wondering if there was a connection.
MAYBE, I thought, being cheerful is a defining characteristic of manginaness. But we only need to scroll down a few threads to observe some very, very grumpy remarks by some of the most noted manginas in board history.
However, THIER maginanality seems to not be accompanied by the red, itchy rash commonly associated with the affliction. So, opinions and info on any studies welcome, I'm looking for responses to the question: Is cheerfulness a symptom of mangonavitis? Could it possibly be the CAUSE of manginavitis? Has anyone heard any discussion of this on NPR or BBC? AND has any non-manginas ever felt cheerful?
He likes to actually force his dick down women's throats for fun. Yep RG is alive and well unfortunately
and you like to shit on people anonymously on the Internet for fun. we all have our kinks.
your constant fucking cheerfulness makes me fucking grumpy as hell.
Now stop this shit and start bitching a little! This board is all about the 3 B's:
Bitch, Banter, Bone... repeat
I hope you're just making fun of my OP and not Smokey Robinson. That's a great song, Mr Fisher.

You raise the question of people who are always cheerful, and Smokey wonderfully puts the question in perspective as only he can do, though I believe that Stevie Wonder wrote the song and asked Smokey to perform it.
Manginaavitis is caused by any strong emotion but anger. So yes cheerfulness can give it to you. Trust your king on this. A mangina and proud.

Brevity isn't always my forte.
Working on it though.
Charlie's quote spoke only for himself, really, but once it went viril enough to make Bartlett's or something, it became one of those microcosmic notions that reflect some macrocosmic "truism?" And like any truism, it is only true in its own context, same as "clothes make the man," or, "beauty is skin deep." So if I look at Mahata Ghandi as a way of refuting the "clothes make the man" truism, and someone else say, "Oh, but look at N_______--fill in your choice of GQ dandy--I can only concede by asserting the integrity of the truism.
So I was the one who responded saying that Charlie speaks for all of us. I wasn't saying that GaGambler quoting Charlie Sheen speaks for all of us, nor was I asserting that GaGambler assumed OR himself asserted that Charlie spoke for all of us.
And it was part of the bet, sort of, that I totally reverse my stand and embrace the truism.
99.9999% of the time I spend online, I'm alone with my laptop, desktop, or iPod. Last Sunday morning I was at the coffeehouse and sharing the general tone of the goings on with others. Instead of following each other's ramblings online, we were just leaning over and eyeing each other's screen, each of us remaining logged in to our own thing.
The Charlie Sheen quote had very surreal and hilarious significance that someone (Robbin) would at that particular moment put it on the board. So my comment(s) were aimed at the people I was having coffee with as much or more than those on the board. The bet referred to whose side the next poster would take, and you posted, and you know the rest.
I made the statement, not you. And my statement wasn't meant to assert that you DID make any statement that you didn't make. I think anyone reading the train would realize who said what. And, in the end, my focus was more on the crowd at the coffeehouse than the board.
I really am sorry if that caused any consternation, I really am. It was yet another example of being too cheerful for efficient etiquette and communication on all fronts. Hope this lets us bury that particular hatchet.

and yes, that does make sense to me, a fact that I find rather troublesome I might add, but certainly enough to consider this hatchet buried.
and a thorough fucking makes me even happier...
why not be "cheerful" as you put it - life's too short - and too wonderful - to be grumpy....
I'll wager a 3-hour session will clear up manginavitis and probably help control those pesky nose hairs that have been giving me trouble lately. Thanks!
