So, during a session do you like the lights to be dim or like all the lights on? This is for those who prefer incall. When I host I love a nice dim light. So prefer dim! What do you prefer?

I want to see her hot bod clearly. I've found that if she wants the lights too dim she's probably hiding something, like scars, extra weight, etc.

Incredibly sexy NYC based Latina. She would tour to Philly and her hotel room would be pitch dark. lol. I would come out of the direct sunlight as I often did morning sessions with her and would be blinded when I walked into her room. I wanted to see her sexy body and beautiful face so she would agree to let me open a curtain a wee bit. lol. Men are just visual creatures in general and the female form turns us on so we can get excited enough to perform. Lights on please!

that my eyes don't adjust to darkness as quickly as they used to, so when I come from the bright sunlight to a dimly lit incall, by the time I can see her clearly, she already has the donation, which limits my options at that point.  Lol

...if you want to properly set the mood. Unless I am playing with sensory deprivation I want enough light to see what I'm doing (and also catch glimpses of myself in the bedside mirrors). Just no overhead lighting please, it makes everyone look like shit.

My thoughts are similar to Lopaw.

Definitely brightly lit at least in the beginning.  Preferably with some natural light.

Once things get going I’m fine with bright or dim, but dim is relative. I want to still be able to see her smile, eyes, etc.  Some of my hostesses have put a scarf or something over a hotel room lamp. It subdues the light so it’s not so obnoxious but you can still see what’s going on.

If the room is dark, be cool and casually walk toward the window. Once there, rip the shades open and flood the room with sunlight.

I've exposed more than one vampire using this move! Usually, they shriek and go up in a puff of smoke!

Think of that scene where Elizabeth Perkins is finally about get it on with Tom Hanks and she turns off the light. And Tom turns it back on.
That's me. It always will be me. I want to see every voluptuous square inch of the woman I'm with.

This is my take, why would you want it to be dark and you can't see her face or body? Dim and dark rooms benefit the provider because they don't want to look at you while you fucking them. If they don't want to look at you, tell them to close their eyes.

Because they can't see your ugly face and can pretend your penis is attached to someone else.
Anyone else.

I prefer dim lighting but not so dim we can't see each other.  Similar to having a lot candles lit...soft light but not pitch dark.

One of my pet peeves is walking into a hotel room, airbnb, private home, where ever and every light is on. I do not shop in certain stores because of their excessive use of these lights. Hotels normally use florescent lights as do many people in their homes.  These lights are horrible for the well being of humans, it's worth researching.  Their blinding and give me headaches.

I usually remedy this by asking some of the lights get shut off and I put a towel over lamps.  This creates more light than I prefer but it isn't bothersome to me and enough to keep him happy and seeing all he needs to see!

There's always a compromise!

Some of the effects are measurable but barely detectable:

The Power of Color Temperature
.
But it isn't just the color. Most people have no problem with the fusion of the 60 Hz flicker but there is still an effect.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9557586/
The impact of flicker from fluorescent lighting on well-being, performance and physiological arousal
.
Depending on what you read, LED lighting flicker is worse than fluorescent.
