 I never tip providers that are > $400/hour (rarely see them unless their pictures and reviews make me run to them). I see a lot of providers that are in the $200 to $300 range and tip them based on their service. My tip ranges from $50 to $100. I never tip below $50.

the tip is based on:

1. They stay engaged the full hour without any distractions. I don't like it when I am out in 45 or 50 mins. Prefer them to cuddle up/kiss even when the pop is done. No tip for using cell phone during the hour, unless they let me know its a family emergency.

2. How well they can pretend to enjoy the hour. The better the acting, the better the tip. In the rare instance where they truly love their job, the tip is high.

3. And last but not the least, they communicate well enough to make sure they understand what I like and don't like. Its taking the care to understand what your customer wants and adjusting on the fly to make it worth my while

At MPs, the fee is always split between the house and the hostess. I pretty much always tip when I visit a MP (usually AMP), 10%-30%.

Agencies also take a cut of the total fee but the cut varies. Depending in the basic fee (usually much higher than a MP) and my overall experience, I will sometimes tip.  

Indies control their own show and set a basic fee to cover their expenses and more, usually with a generous "more." Above a certain level I do not tip indies.  Below that made up mental cutoff, I sometimes tip but less often that with agency incalls

A late night snack or a couple of rounds of blackJack, and if they win,it's theirs, if they lose....FUCK!!!!!!! And this is in Vegas..In LA....Nope.

if she's not a clock watcher, then I tip. If she makes me feel like I really matter (for reasons other than financial) while I'm there, then I tip.  If she does both, I tip generously If she does neither, I won't be back.

For hobbying, getting my ownschedule to match up with providers is the biggest roadblock I face in hobbying.  I find a reputation for tipping sometimes gets me priority with a provider where they will move someone else to accommodate the day and time that I can make it.  Also, I seem to get the best the provider has to offer because they always want tippers to become regulars.

But while I always tip, if the service is not up to par, I don't repeat.

This is an excellent answer sir.  You can be civil after all.  I would like to be able to say the same thing, but there was one time when I didn't tip because I was at the limit of my budget.  However, the time I didn't tip, I did leave her a $50 gift card.  I try to always leave a small gift as well.

Once you are here awhile, you will see that my responses are almost equally divided between the informational, the humorous, and the controversial.  Evidently, you are not yet a fan of the controversial.  Since I often provide useful information, and a few yuks, most here are willing to put up with the controversial.  Its all about achieving balance in life.

As I said, I'm not sure why I toe the line on not tipping. Perhaps I feel that the lady sets what she feels her time is worth, and that's what I pay.  

It really is a simple arrangement.

I did give my ATF a Birthday present (a fairly generous gift card to VS and a few small gag gifts). But to be clear, this was a Birthday gift, not a tip. If any provider I've seen would have gotten a tip from me, it would have been her.

Oddly enough, I tip well at restaurants, and I tip my Uber drivers.

If a discount is offered, like as in P411 discounts for members, I don't apply the discount and I give the normal stated amount.

So I guess that I have tipped, without having done so purposely.

I'm at about two years in the hobby, with maybe 20 dates and 15 providers  under my belt, so to speak.

Most the girls I've seen have been in the $400-700  for 90 minutes to two hour range.

When I started (say first 10 girls) I always put an extra $50 in the envelope and gave them at least $20 when I left. Figured it was nice, and it would get me better service and more enthusiastic references.  

I've since come to the conclusion that tipping doesn't get you a better session and with the base rates these girls charge (fun fact: $400 an hour in a full time job is about $800K a year!) it's not like a major part of the business model. I mean, when was the last time you tipped your dentist?

However, if I think I'll see them again or they've done an amazing job I will hand them an extra $50 on the way out. I figure it's enough that they'll notice, I'm doing it because I really want to them know they made me happy, and if I've already dropped $500 it's just an extra 10%. I probably do this half to a third of the time.

Most providers like Starbucks, or knows someone who does.

I usually give $30 Starbucks gift card when I see a regular or someone new who is above the norm in communication before the date.......someone who is very buttoned up and professional.

As was mentioned above, when  I get into the $500 dollar range for an hour and above( which is rare) , no tip.  

If there are parking costs, etc I will pay for those as well
