Just curious to see how far in advance most of you dudes call to make an appointment with a provider. Do you prefer to contact a week or more in advance or are most of you spur of the moment, of course not too spur of the moment to check reviews on TER,lol,and prefer to contact the provider the same day.
Myself, I like to make the date 3 or 4 days prior. Just wondering if their were any preferences in this regard.
I have done the call 2 months in advance, but many "providers" do not take you seriously. An hour seems to be more excepted.
Tall, Since I discovered TER and became a member, I try to limit my choices to the highest rated providers. For that reason, I book about a week in advance to make sure I can get our schedules to match. The ladies seem to appreciate that also.
Since I hobby, for the most part, only when I travel, I'm probably guilty of trying to plan way too far in advance. It has bitten me in the ass a couple of times, when I've had to call a lady and tell her my plans have changed, or my trip got cancelled. I just get my mind set on a particular lady, then I can't wait. In fact, I have been trading emails with a lady for a couple of days now, for a date six weeks from today. I don't think I've ever called less than two weeks ahead.
meet with a lady, and my opportunities are somewhat limited, I do contact some ladies a few months in advance. Not to set a specific date at that point, but rather, to introduce myself and see if they can pre-screen me. Some do, and some ask to be contacted back again a month before.
Since I am into research, I find some ladies like to have an email conversation in the months/weeks prior discussing various physiological aspects. It's really nice in that by the time we actually meet, it's not like two strangers meeting. It's more relaxed, yet exciting, without the awkwardness. If someone doesn't want to hear from me until a few days prior, I just move on since I know there probably won't be a good connection. (Plus, having to travel a couple hours means I want to be sure they are really serious about meeting.)
It's worked okay for me. I've met some wonderful ladies this way, and have enjoyed some great email exchanges.
I can only speak for me; a day or 2 is the max I'll schedule appointment, unless she is my regular. The thought of any longer time does not work for me as I tend to change mind about any particular lady by the next day. The best thing is to choose about 4 ladies you like to meet and call them in the order of your liking, but keep in mind that you may ended up with #4 if she the one that is available
Anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 hour. My schedule is not very dependable, so I like schedule as close to the appointment as possible. For that reason, I try to pre-screen with indy providers ahead of time so that I can make the appointment with more spontaneity.
ALways a week so I can get the time and day I want. Unless I am really horny when I get up in the morning then I might see what and who is available.
Since my dates are at minimum dinner dates and usually longer a month is fairly normal and some have been planned 3 or 4 months out.
Never had a dinner date with a girl at least you know that its only an appetizer 
I have to drive about 2 1/2 hours to hobby so I prefer to schedule a month or so in advance, if possible. I hobby once per month so I like to try to get the appointment set up that far in advance. It doesn't always work out, but so far most of the time it has.

Most specify on their websites the amount of time they need in order to be properly prepared for you... Say you wanted to come see me here at Sheri's Ranch Brothel In NV, you'd just need to show up... But that's not to say you couldn't call ahead, right?

Almost always e-mail first, a few days beforehand. If she responds, then phone calls if she requests and further e-mails. Once the initlal e-mail is sent, it's up to her to recipricate, and take things to the next level...
Sometimes, when traveling on business, its a spur of the moment thing when i find myself free - particularly if its a city where i don't have any favorites - then i just check various web resources, do homework, and start calling.
But on the other hand, my ATF is in a city I get to 8-12 time a year, and she is very accomadating on time/scheduling, but If I know I'll be there in advance, I let her know as soon as i know I'll be down there, then work out a time via email exchange - but I'm flexible with her and sometimes change so she can have another appointment. I like to be her last appointment of the day (she is low volume) and see her at her home, then we can have a leisurely time, and converse a while without being rushed out.
9 times out of 10 I call on the day I want to hobby. If I can't get my fav. I'm lucky enough to live in Chicagoland where we have a big choice. It has also backfired on me where I couldn't get an appointment for the time I wanted or no appointment at all, but hobbing is like life its a gamble.
Varies. I've made same day appointments...though this was with a lady I had seen before. Usually, several days in advance...
With my ATF, I e-mail a couple of days ahead so she can let me know if she's free. If I use the phone, I call a day ahead (as I book daytime appointments). Often, I'll call when I'm on the road 1/2 hour out (low volume provider).
Same day appts have generally worked out poorly.
