So, I have a confession to make. I've been doing incalls now for over 3 years on an air bed. Now, it's not the lay on the floor, camping/outdoor type of airbeds you see at Walmart, but rather the ones only sold online or at bed bath and beyond. It's like an aerobed, but a different brand. I've used Serta and now am using a brand I've had now for 2 years (yes, it's held up for 2 years without puncturing). I also have a memory foam mattress topper plus a down mattress topper...so it feels more like a regular bed. It's also 26 inches in height, and a queen size. I have a headboard made for double-rod curtains as if it's aginst a window, so it looks nice (I'm a decorator by default)
Anyhow, enough of descriptions. The point is, I have a regular client who every time he comes over...seems to annoyingly ask me, "when am I going to get a real bed". And I tell him the same thing....I was never planning to stay here permanently, and don't want to purchase a bed set, when I know I'm going to be out of here next year. Yes there's no foundation and even the firmest setting doesn't compare to a bed frame (the air flow is remote controlled, so I can easily adjust). But I also spend 1-2 weeks every month in a hotel, so I know how a real bed feels. the comfort level of my bed for SLEEPING rivals the beds at hampton inn, and the sleep number at radisson. Upscale hotel beds in king size are the type of beds I like, and those brands can be in the $2,000-$4,000 range. I much rather sleep on my air bed, than some springy mattress. So my question is, is this really a big deal to clients? The other day when my client asked me that, I almost wanted to tell him to leave. Get out. Because that's some bullshit, if you want me to have a new bed, buy me one. But he ain't buying fucking shit. I don't know what's with Americans, always suggesting someone to get something, but not dropping shit towards paying for one. Like my friend, always suggesting I buy a NEW car...when he never hears me say anything wrong about my reliable older model Infiniti. But guess who's going to be making the payments on that new car? I'd be curious to see what an air mattress feels like.
In any case, I wouldn't necessarily (unless it was an overnight) be doing much sleeping on it, so the real question is can the mattress support our attempts to shift positions comfortably, etc.?

First of all, not having a real bed is cheesy, and if she doesn't get that, well, that says a lot. And then to bring the attitude, "if you don't like it buy me a real bed?" WTF? I guess if she's late to an appointment she thinks he should buy her a car.
PS: I'm not against a good air bed per se. I've slept on several and they're quite comfortable. It's the attitude in this case I'm not wild about.
Because I always wear Loubies with 5" heels and I wouldn't wish to cause a puncture.

Personally, if I'm paying upwards of $400 an hour for a full GFE experience, I wouldn't want to walk in and see an air mattress on the floor. Seems cheap and tacky and I would probably excuse myself and leave. Then again, if you're Olivia Munn in heat, I suppose allowances can be made,

How much do you charge? $20/session? Yeah, maybe the guy needs to spend more. But if $250 plus, or if you call yourself high end, get a bed. Don't call Americans naive and stupid if you can't even figure that out.
You don't have to get a real bed, but know there are plenty of ladies who have real beds and will be happy to take the business. It's your responsibility to listen. If an air bed suits you, go for it. But don't expect it to suit your potential clients. At least he told you and still came back.

When news reporters asked random sample of people where States like Washington (state), Utah, Tennessee, Illinois Indiana, Alabama exist, so called Americans who have Lived here all their lives couldn't figure out where each state are really located and didn't know the capital to each state. If she had said, "What's wrong with you men in DC", or wherever she's based that would be different. By specially say Americans, to me she is making a statement about ALL Americans.

I don't think it's at all fair or good to blame Americans for the fact that she doesn't have a bed. She didn't say stupid, which is good, but materialistic for wanting someone who runs the entire business by the bed to - have a real bed? That's not materialistic. That's asking for the most essential item in a sex related business. If she's ok having an air mattress, and it works for her rate/clientele, that's great. But to blame her business supply on an 'American who demands but doesn't pay for it?' Because they're American? They are paying for a service where it's the general practice to have a real bed.
Sure, I can say 'if you love me, you'll have sex with me on my wooden floor' but there are plenty of other people who have beds, and he can go pay and love someone else just as much. Air beds are hard to have good sex on. Their hard to balance on, they move around a lot, and the bounce back is hard to follow. This is one of those very easy things to take care of and not worth the money you'll save in the long run for your business or your presentation of your persona.HA! last year, i had a choice of purchasing an entertainment set, or a new bed. i went for the entertainment set because i liked watching movies by the fireplace. plus the bed DOES NOT flip over when 2 people are on it.

the good thing about airbeds versus mattresses...is i don't have to worry about dustmites. i can wash every layer from cover to cover, which is great for allergy/asthma sufferers like myself. again, i am holding out for the $2,000 mattress. i want to pay cash and own it, just like everything else i have (car, electronics). but, i am moving soon and don't feel now (nor the last 3 years) is the time to buy it. when i move into my new home, that will be the right time.Then quit your bitching!!!!
