It was before midnight yesterday morning, therefore it was "2 days ago" in new TER. If it was before midnight this morning, it will say "yesterday." Things were much easier when there was actual time stamps in old TER. However, there are still ways to find the time stamp.

I've been complaining about this since the beta release. TER told me that if I hover the mouse over something -- doesn't matter what because I've tried everything and it doesn't work.
Hover over "yesterday" and you're supposed to see the expanded time stamp.
Or maybe it's hover over poster's name ...
Or hover over the subject line ...
Or switch mode and do the same thing again ...
Or hover yourself over the fuming crater of Mauna Loa ...
It doesn't matter what you try, because the expanded time stamps never show up.
The only way I know how to find the time stamps is by searching posts.
For example, if I oook at your post above that I am replying to, it says "5 hours ago." However if I go to the top of the page and hit search and type in "old" as author, I can find this post and it timestamps as "8/12/2017 12:45:41 PM" (Hawaii time, which is set under my account)
There is not an easy method that I know of. The hover method impposter mentioned never worked for me either. I wish they would just bring back the timestamps.
Good observation! However, I think most of the people complaining about the abbreviated (and misleading) time stamps want to be able to read the boards more efficiently and more quickly. We just don't want to check an occasional post to find out when it went up.

Well, yeah! I'm not gonna disagree with any of that. During beta I asked admin about time stamps. They responded with the hover bull shit. I told them it doesn't work on the browser I use. They said nothing. Of course they should just have real time stamps! I bitched about that and gave up a long time ago.
Not to get too far off topic, but yes everything you said is right. There are a myriad of ways they've made the boards more difficult. I can't fix any of them. We're talking about work arounds here. PS said he didn't know an easy way to find the time stamp. I'm looking at a post, I'm curious what time it went up, I click reply, there it is, I click back and I'm right where I was. IMHO, that's a helluva lot easier than searching up the post by author like he said he's been doing. Is it ideal? No. But I've given up on that.

Most of us on both sides of this hobby are here as a means of feeling empowered and exercising our rights to self-sovereignty.
