Everyone has different lifestyles, so I can imagine. I would be looking for any excuse to get away for a secret escape. Idk Any excuse to treat yourself this Holiday Season? Do tell. More, or less dates this Winter 2023?

I work for a hospitality group, and I expect to work around 70 hrs a week for the rest of the year including New Year’s Eve.  Couple that with being single and a home owner with a pretty big yard and a young dog, and I just don’t have the energy or much free time. I try to always make up for it big time after the New Year though. ^_^

Generally less due to more family events.

Thanksgiving this year will be different since I'll be alone and I'll try to get some extra play time in lol.

the demands on my time to attend family events and business clients' holiday gatherings.  I'll be lucky if I average one girl a week.

I spend more time (longer sessions) with a select few as a show of appreciation.

I hobby on the holidays. The only issue is some providers are hard to get a hold of and some agencies don't open because they don't get a lot of business during the holidays. But this is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week machine so someone, somewhere needs money and lovin.

it’s about the same frequency as other times, except the holidays themselves are reserved for family. And if I’m out of town during holidays, I’m with family then.

But holiday seasons offer opportunities for special sessions with my fav providers. For many years I saw my ATF on Black Friday morning, since I had the day off and I’m not one to hit the crazy sales then, nor is she. Another fav I usually see on New Year’s Eve morning; I bring along her favorite champagne and celebrate the new year a little early.

Before I retired this last fall, at the end of the year I'd always have a lot of vacation days accrued that I would lose if I didn't take them by Dec 31.   I wonder if that's a motivating factor for anyone.  It wasn't particularly for me, since my availability was more constrained around family matters.

My kid will be home from college for a month, so I am front loading before Xmas.

I hate explaining to her when I am out "running errands".
