I actually used the word "fellas" in a post a few threads down, but I used it as a counter to "dames" and "gams". lol

It does make you wonder though. Was there a "stupidest thread of the day" contest that no one told us about? Today seems like a particularly "dumb" day on the boards.

I guess just like idiots seem to think alike, so do great minds like ours. lol

I may get crap for this posting but I do want to share this advice and reminder with the guys.
If your appt. with a provider is going shitty from the very beginning, even before u see her,  then it is just going to get worse and it will result in a mediocre to a crappy session. I say if this is the case, things starting off on a bad note, then walk away, dont go through with the session because it will not be worth it.

 
 As a fella you have to know when to walk away. I have yet to learn this lesson but hopefully after my last encounter I learn. I know its hard especially if you have been waiting all day and sometimes week(s) to meet with a provider but sometimes there are signs all around us telling us not to go through with it and we should learn to listen to that voice.  
ANyways just wanted to share that with all of u, that way some of u guys will not drop a good amount on a session that's not worth it.

It was a misunderstanding.  She had me come to the lobby of her hotel and wait in the lobby for her to come down because you needed a key to get up the elevator.

Well, I called her from the lobby and told her what I looked like and what I was wearing, and waited in front of the elevators for her.  After about five minutes my cell phone rang and she's asking where the hell I am.  I asked her the same.

Well, as you have probably guessed by now, the city had two hotels of the same name, and we were in different hotels.  I hopped in a cab and then got to her hotel and we laughed about it but at the time I thought she was yanking my chain.

But on the other hand, I've met some gals where things didn't start out too well, and yes, they headed down from there.  It's human to try and salvage things I guess.

hotel had two towers and I was in the wrong one so the room number didn't exist when I got to the floor. Dicey couple of minutes but figured out my mistake pretty quick!

I think you are being too vague for this post to provoke much thought (other than that many find use of "fellas" to be antiquated).

at least it would have been an attempt to be inclusive of all of us, since we come in all shapes, sizes, colors and genders.
But I already wrote the OP off as a clueless oaf.

First, do your homework and your due diligence. Find your ladies from in here, read reviews and look at her photos and really read her ad page. Some providers have very generic, non personal websites. But most women have very detailed, personal descriptions of themselves.

Second, on first dates do 1 or 1/2 hour dates, this way you have minimized two things, amount of funds committed and if you don't have any chemistry then you minimize the duration of the awkward moments in between the action.

Lastly, do not cruise BP or CL for your dates. Some really awesome and reputable ladies advertise on BP, never have cruised or seen a CL ad, but they have many good to great reviews in here. But not very many. You might want to not allow price point to dictate your choices. I speak from experience on this one, two lousy dates at 200 are not as fulfilling as one good date at 400. I've had less than stellar dates at 400 and a few better than average 200 dates. But as a whole bargain shopping in this sport leads to unhappiness.

Have fun, be safe, use your big head first, and most importantly be yourself.

I'm not sure any of the other hobbyists intend to exclude you from the team based upon gender. I suspect you are wise enough to understand that the overwhelming majority of hobbyists are male. I'd enjoy talking with you at a M&G sometime, I just attended my first, and I'm hooked.

Most people are just unaware of the fact that there are some of us ladies lurking out here sniffing out pu-say too. I attribute it to general ignorance, but I do sometimes try to enlighten those that I think would gain by that knowledge, primarily providers. I lost count of all of the providers that I have emailed to ask about their seeing women hobbyists, only to have them respond with a "Well, yes I do!!! But I have never been asked that before!". So knowledge is power, and in my case, it can also be very rewarding (hubba hubba)

And thank you for the kind words, russbbj. A M&G for me might one day be in the cards.

Are you talking about conversation on the phone about your fantasies? How long did you talk about it? 2 hours?
Did you try to book a session quickly and not discuss anything else that might sound like waste of time and tempt the provider to give you a shitty beginning conversation?  
Right behavior with 0 tome wasted for the provider:  try texting a précised session booking such as: "7pm, My hotel Cambrige, Ma" as providers like straight to the point text or voice messages and she will not have a shitty attitude or hang up on you
