Ladies, does a hobbyist's attire affect how you treat him, regardless of the fact that he's paid for your time already?

But I tend to dress up a bit when seeing a lady, for two reasons.  First of all, most of them are staying in high-end hotels and I'd stick out like a sore thumb in the lobby if I was in a T-shirt and jeans.  So I'm usually in slacks, a sport shirt and a sport jacket, passing through the lobby like I own it.
Also, some gals like it when a guy is nicely dressed, so that doesn't hurt either.

be true to who you are, not who you aren't whether it be jeans or a suit. It's how you 'wear' your attire, not so much what the attire actually is.

im sick of people asking for their car when im outside the restaurant . it doesn't say valet on my jacket and I could buy the damn restaurant .

something sharp that he feels confident, comfortable in. And yes, I dress casual chic I guess you could say depending on where I'm headed as I dress by my 'mood' usually. Most of my dates happen in NY so yes, attire is important. When I am booking $400+ rooms, I can only hope he 'dresses the part'. Since most dates for me start in the 'public eye', it's important that we match as a 'couple' together. Again, it's important to 'not' stick out like the odd couple. Haven't had an issue with that yet. Most gentlemen understand this aspect and it's usually an unspoken understanding. I, more or less ask them what they would like to see me in, pants or a dress, 'sans' panties or not    I usually have a pretty good read on the gentleman I am meeting and 'adjust' accordingly lol. You are all very different and have your own lil things lol that get you going. It is indeed fun trying to figure out just what that is sometimes I must say. And sometimes I like it when you just flat out tell me haha.  

Preconceived notions about suits being worn. But on the whole, no, several other things make the man. Many other dimensions than clothing. I love being in my part of NYC because when I have a long date outside I actually prefer a suit not be worn. This is a chill neighborhood so suits aren't the best for hanging out.

rent a tux when I saw you but now I can save that coin to give you a bigger tip. Glad I can "come as I am" when we meet. Or, should I have said, "cum when I am ready" when we meet?

I dress appropriate to the hotel, typically business casual so that when I pass through the lobby I look like anyone who would be staying at the hotel. And I do find ladies prefer for us to be dressed nicely. Does that mean we have to be dressed nicely? No, but anything that puts a lady at ease, I'm willing to do (within reason). A favorite of mine, who doesn't want reviews, prefers me to come dressed in jeans, so that's what I do. I rarely wear suits, so I haven't ever arrived at a date in a suit. I did go to a show with a lady once, so I brought along a suit to change into, bit I arrived to her door business casual.

on where we are going, outside the bedroom, and the current weather.

as a sharp dresser myself, I always suggest Taylor keep the cottons on if we're dining first, so as not to leave a mess in the restaurant chair...

and LES places, it's a bit out of place.

There is a huge difference between wearing dirty jeans, work boots and a T shirt with holes in it in the lobby of the Four Seasons, and wearing something by Versace that might cost a grand or more.

Living in Texas, I rarely wear anything nicer than business casual and often wear jeans, but when I wear jeans on a date, they are clean, pressed and I usually am wearing $800 shoes and have a Rolex on my wrist. Getting accosted by a hotel manager or looked down on by my date is the least of my worries.

Some people can look like a bum even when wearing a suit, and other guys can look like a million bucks wearing jeans. As Taylor said, "it's how you wear it"

I know that people claim that "clothes make the man" I believe the opposite is closer to the truth.

You are right, a sharp guy will look like a sharp guy in a $2k suit or a $200 suit. That's my point. Doesn't make a difference to me how much that suit is.  I'm not looking at 'labels' that's for sure. If the ensemble he chose just 'works', that works for me. It's all in a first look at first glance and if he wears it well, I'm like well alright, doesn't matter to me 'who' it's by

Cleaned, pressed, and well fitting goes a lot further than what ever is printed on the label.

You don't come in a dirty stinky clothes, I don't mind the hobbyist sense of style... But most whom I see come in button down dress shirt & slacks.....  

Of course it should still look clean and kempt. It all ranges. Do what is good for you; I'm sure the gal would not mind a bit as long as you adhere to hygiene.

While it's true that a $2,000 suit doesn't mean just anyone will look good in it, it's pretty damn hard for anyone to look good in one costing $200.  But what's this with pressing your jeans?  Shirley you don't mean your jeans have creases in them?  Say it ain't so!

I like a nice suit, and feel good in one. I've worn suits to visit providers, and I've worn "nice" casual. I don't think it's made a difference. I've been treated well when dressed casual, and not as well when dressed up, and vice versa.

a nice pair of jeans and his shoes are important (most men neglect this fact but we look lol) topped off with a nice crisp shirt, blazer and sometimes a tie if it's dinner, really all depends 'where' we are meeting. A suit only comes into play with gentlemen I meet with during the day and they are coming from the office. Which offers a whole lot of other 'fun'. But meeting in the evening I prefer the latter.

No one says you have to 'impress' anyone, it's about what you feel most confident and sexy in silly. If it's 9 week old undies, then so be it LOL......just don't book with me please until it's the day AFTER the 9 weeks has subsided and the undies are clean. I thank you in advance LOL. Cute though.

minus the socks? That's a few years old actually I think from the 2012 collection but my point is just look sharp in whatever you wear, no matter the designer brand. That same gentleman would look amazing in the Kohls suit I provided pricepoint under 300. You get my drift. It's about selling 'IT'.

I probably would 'dress up' in business casual or a New England chic style if it wasn't going to raise red flags with the Mrs. on my return home.  so I guess a clean pair of jeans and a polo shirt (rather than a T)  is about as fancy as its going to get.

I think the suit always gets me going, just because it can be so sexy! After being a provider for almost a year and meeting some wild men in suits- wild in a good way- I am a bit more excited when they are dressed up! Even in passing in the city I wonder about how wild that tall business man in a suit is haha.  

I actually have been greeted by a provider in an wedding gown.  And not at my prompting, was supposed to be spontaneous fun.

i prefer they do what is most convenient , if they are in nerd clothes good. i am not impressed by the guys that are too like thinking too hard. being polite nice considerate goes a long way with me, they can be in a patata sack but be funny and nice, and I will be happy. The nerdy ones are the best clients anyway.Wear glasses with white tape in center and have buck teeth and i will be pumped when you walk in the door. The easier i can impress them and get away with doing less work the better. omg.
