I am just curious about this.  Can some of the ladies here expand upon which cities they have had the best experiences.  Enjoyable encounters, gentleman, good times, good money??? What are your favorite cities to work in and where do you find that you meet the nicest clients and have the least problems, no shows, weirdos, cheapskates etc.
Also what have been some of the toughest cities for you to work in.  Just wondering if there is a discernable difference from working in different places.

I live and work in San Diego, and although San Diego itself is a pretty boring, barren cultureless wasteland, the guys here are pretty much all very good people.  I rarely encounter a no show, cheapskate, problem with screening, etc. which makes it very easy to relax and enjoy my clients and enjoy myself!  I've had a number of appointments in Orange County and the same applies.

The only place I've toured to is the Twin Cities, and with a few notable exceptions, I don't have a whole lot of good things to say about my experience there. Hobbyists in the Twin Cities have a unique way of approaching visiting/new escorts, they have their pointman system. Basically what happens is that within a group of active hobbyists, one of them volunteers to be the pointman and goes out of his way to schedule the escort's first appointment. Following that appointment, he gets on TER right away and post a general comment on the DB, offering to pm more details to anyone with questions.  Having heard from the pointman, the 'sheep' take what he says as gospel and contact/don't contact the escort without giving any more thought to the matter!  Fortunately, when I visited I was already pretty booked with gentlemen I had seen when they visited San Diego, so it didn't make much difference to me.  The idea of the guys in San Diego and LA needing to wait for a pointman to speak is ridiculous and I think most would find it comical ...the guys here aren't 'sheep', they are capable to thinking for themselves and making a decision on their own... like I said we have really good guys in San Diego.

Suzanne in San Diego

BTW I need to mention that I have had little or no problems with guys visiting San Diego from just about everywhere in the US or overseas!

That's the most reviews I'm aware of any hobbyist writing, but ...?

Uh Oh, I have nearly as many reviews myself!

Yes, I'm posting with an alias for protection, but I wanted to jump in here and conferm that the pointman system is probably not working very well here anymore.  I'm a MN guy but do not want to start anymore fights up here.  The system started becuese we had quite a number of locol providers comming on the sene who were bait nd swich and no call/no show and also upselling.  The pointman system helped to limit the number of hobbists they could rip off before they were exsposed.  As with som many good ideas, the pointman idea got out of hand and became quite abbussive as time went on.  It is also true that there are a very small # of hobbists who like to push there wieght around and try to conrol the trafic of providers.  But for the most part, I'd say 95% of us are funloving true gentleman who are being accociated with the out spoken crackpots who gave us a negitive reputation.  There are very few sheep left up here.

To any lovely ladies who would consider comming up here, maybe you could contact a hobbist who you know and trust and ask him to get a group of top-notch guys togeteher to bring you in UTR so as to avoid the pointman problems.

In any case, the trouble-makers (both ladies and hobbists) are slowly being exposed and will very soon have no influance at all anymore.

Finally, San Diego is the only city away from home where I was ripped off by a SD local provider.  So, my impresson of SD ain't grate either.  It can hapen any where I guess.

Jeopcon, I get my reviews the same way you do. I see lots of ladies and write reviews. NO finders fees ever are involved.

I have not run into too many mindles Hobbysits or minions that cannot think for themselves to rely solely upon the word of just one hobbyst about a provider or let alone one Provider regaridng a specific city.

The twin cities does not have any issues of getting plenty of variety of both locals, independents and agencies to visit our city.

Not every city is a good option for all providers. Just like not all providers are a good option for all hobyyists!

I would presume with the number of ladies you see, that a number of agencies give you soem breaks on pricing on their ladies.

I'm sorry to hear that you were ripped off in San Diego, but I believe that can happen anywhere.  My comments were about the guys in San Diego though, and I stand by those comments.

But please, can we all stop bashing each other now.  I am well aware that the majority of guys in the TCs are real 'gentlemen' and I had the pleasure of having the majority of my appointments booked with the 'real' gentlemen there. I certainly can't say how new/visiting escorts are treated now in the Twin Cities. I wrote a 100% accurate account of my experience in May 2003,  and it's certainly possible that it's not that way any more.

Damned sheep! These are probably the same bastards who won't buy a car until they talk to other people who own the same model. Why not just wade into the situation blind and take your chances? What can go wrong? Ah, it's really just a matter of perspective: those "really good guys" in San Diego may be ideal customers from the providers' viewpoint; they just might not be very prudent customers. If they're willing to fork out their hard-earned money without knowing what they're in for, they might look like really wonderful people to Suzanne in San Diego. But far from indicting the guys in Minnesota, she begs another question: who are the real sheep?

MDL, when I visited the Twin Cities in May 2003 there were plenty of 'mindless' hobbyists waiting on your word, some of whom subsequently cancelled their appointments with me. As I mentioned earlier it had little effect on the success of tour, however.   But I wonder if you are saying that none of  what I wrote about above actually happened?

The same guy made a false statement about me, when I asked him why, he admitted to me he got involved in another competitors agenda, but never came out with the story publicly.

His statement caused so much drama I chose to go underground.  I'm still waiting for him to come forward...........

I think the pointman report can be very useful as long as the pointman isn't misguided.  I'm certain this man wouldn't repeat hurting my career if given the chance again.

Suzanne, some are best to avoid.  I'm sorry you had to go through that.  Minneapolis has a big majority of good guys as you found out.  The rest aren't needed to make a successful trip of it.

While I cannot dispute the account that Suzanne has written of
here. I will dispute the fact that I or any other hobbiest
follows in MDL's footsteps, or hangs on his every word.
I have never seen Suzanne nor would I ever desire to book with
her, She just is not my type! And so thus I would have to say that I can think for myself, and often do just that.
I also would add, that the pointman posts that Suzanne is
speaking of, well yes I have led the way with posts or
pointman reports myself, and I think that they are a very good
tool to have have when making a educated choice in who I would
book with. It is really no different than using the reviews
of a provider to gain some insight as to what kind of service may
be offered, the pointman or scout, or recon, or pathfinder
posts that we use in the twin cities help us to weed out the
new and unreviewed providers who may grace us with there presence.
If a provider already has many current reviews posted, then
we do not usually post threads or pointman reports as we already
have the necessary tools to make our choice.
I would also like to point out that the post are helpful to
the visiting providers who lack current reviews, as it allows
for many hobbiests to make a less risky choice in seeing the
unreviewed provider, so it it a useful piece of information for
the community as a whole.

Suzanne, 99% of the time my preference is to see the lady first appt either of her tour or the day.  I do this for the MAIN reason that the lady will typically be more refreshed and ready to potentially Rock My World rather than catching her on the back side of her tour.

My past experiences have tought me and my schedule has allowed me to get morning appts.  Typically ANY lady that I see I will post comments on the board. I will give MY opinion of what MY session was like and let the other hobbyist decide whether they wish to book withthe lady or not.

You say that regardless of my posting your trip was all pre-booked, then why the slam in general against Mpls if there isn't an axe to grind?

what an interesting comment coming from you since YOU started the inital bashing and turned up the heat.  Guess things got too Hot for you in the kitchen and decided to back away.

If you are going to bash a city or person, you should at least put a few disclaimers there just like we do in reviews such as YMMV.

As you say that was 2 yrs ago.  Question is the hobby in San Diego the exact same now as it was 2 yrs ago? I doubt it. Now does that mean that is btter or worse. Neither, just that is is different but could be interpreted 2 very different ways.

Maybe next time you  should pick your words a bit more carefully before you pick a fight.  Nothing wrong with opinions, they are likes assholes....everyone has them

I see reviews as an odometer, I only post for >10% of the girls I see, so by that logic I'd say your odometer has rolled over a few times to say the least! -- it kind of reminds me of the car I got when I turned 16, it was an old Volvo, and had 385,000 miles on it when I got it. The body looked good from the outside, it gave me nothing but trouble, and it nickel and dimed me to death. when I graduated, I bought my first new car, and I've traded up every year since, its been a pretty trouble-free life!
I guess I also just prefer "that new-car smell"!

Not once was Tuzdae asked to verify her claims.  She'd have to admit she's had run-in's with a few stalkers who had access to her home and were seen driving down her alley.

I haven't been around long enough to know what it was like 20 years ago as Tuzdae stated.  Only she would know all the dirty, rotten ways one eliminated competition in the past.  Using a patsy to attack a competitor with false statements seems one.  Who else better to pull such tactic than one who saw them firsthand.  Kudo's to Tuzdae.  I hope she sleeps well at night.

Being used as a patsy isn't fun.  Every good hearted guy knows what that feels like including MDL.
He also needs to come out of the curtain and admit he was misguided by a competitors agenda.

In my eyes, him righting this will make him above reproach.
