Maybe providers are not needy individuals but they're survival depends on the patrons, not to mention the typical lifespan of the provider career isn't one that's going to soley sustain them through their retirements.
as independent except for the ones that work for agencies. Its usually in the TER profile.
I have met some ladies who are certainly independent. Others not so much.
I don't see that a short career span makes a difference. All careers come to an end. The successful career of a lady certainly exceeds that of a pro athlete. Probably exceeds that of many jobs that require physical skill. Certain technical jobs become iffy after you get to a certain age regardless of what the EEOC would like to think... And just like some people in other short span careers - many blow it as fast as they make it. Others could invest it and become set for life. But you certainly hear more about the ones who did not choose wisely... Being independent does mean that you have the freedom to fail..
"They don't need anybody else but themselves to validate who they are."
......
This is a very rare trait in a human,
let alone a provider.
Just look at how TER numbering system can throw emotions into a tizzy.
It's a Number. They need a Number.
........
Most people are desperate for love and need the approval of others for validation.
A hunter, and I always EAT what I "kill."
Most of us would rather have a partner than a trophy housewife who spends all our money. If she's contributing to the finances, we're more likely to get all warm and fuzzy and spend money on her for romantic purposes.
Obviously providers are trying to be financially independent or at least partially so, but I think the article is more about emotional independence, a.k.a. being a grown up.
I don't think I know any of the providers I've seen (the most I've seen anyone is 5 times) who I could know enough about as to whether or not they were emotionally independent. By nature providers have to be good actors and most want to maintain a great deal of privacy about their OTC lives, so unless you come across an obvious train wreck, I'm not sure how you'd know if a provider is truly emotionally independent. But if you're looking to be enamored, then maybe this should be on the SD/SB board. Or, there's no shortage of "I'm falling for my provider" posts, maybe that needs a board (or an intervention group).You try and enlighten this and other boards like few others, in my opinion however I think its the Breasts......
Lol, we'll there certainly been a few times that I've seen a great pair and audibly exclaimed "Mother of God!"
I do think an independent nature is attractive, though. It's an attractive trait in either gender.
...there is also a strong attraction to the demure, innocent damsel who needs our help... at least for an hour...😎
