We've talked about our favorite toys and I just ordered some for myself for Christmas and got to try them out! Yeah, I know, it's not Christmas yet! LOL! Ok, so I couldn't wait..

My doc and I are trying to figure out this 'sensitivity' issue I have going on. I'm just such a delicate little flower, ya know - LOL! She asked me to throw away my lubes and buy new ones. I did. She asked me to cover all my toys (my own personal use) with condoms, and that's helped. So, what we've figured is that I can't use plastic toys, 'realskin', or 'cyberskin' as I 'react' to them; but they're somewhat better if covered by condoms, so that might be the problem (the material of the toys). So, I also ordered my first glass toy, and tried that (no condom), and NO REACTION! Whooppee!

Thanks, Luscious Laurel, for the recommendation. Easier to clean, and definitely hypo-allergenic, and fun! Because they are pyrex glass, they are made strong, and they can be heated...mmmmmm, nice!

Ok. That's the Sedona Toy Report, brought to you live..

I seem to be sensitive to the rubbery toys, as well.  I have not narrowed it down to latex or plastic, but I know the "jelly" ones especially bother my skin.  I'm not sure if it's a sensitivity to the materials, or if it's because they create more friction against my skin.  So, I find myself wanting to play only with the glass one.  Actually, I received another glass toy as gift, but we have not broken it in yet.

Maybe Santa will read this and stuff my stocking with what I'm wishing for this Christmas (hehehe).  I've been a good girl, Santa.  Really, really good, I've been told.  :-D

Have fun, Sedona, and I look forward to your follow-up Toy Report!

Considering your ability for being multi-orgasmic and then the countless variety of "toys" available to you I doubt if I would ever leave my room if I had been born a woman.

My favorite toy is my tounge. It has been known to irritate the clitoris to the point of extreme orgasm. Often in multiple waves. It seems never to get tired or need re-application of any kind of lubricant. A simple brushing and gargle makes it fresh and ready every day. It has even been known to work right through your panties! I think its biggest advantage is that it seems to work on other parts of the body, with simular results.

Sedona, I will be happy to demonstrate its versility when we meet.

Oh BTW I think there may even be women here on this board that have experienced this wonderful toy that can verify it's utility.

Sedona,

I have a latex sensitivity and have found molded silicone dildos from http://www.stockroom.com to work well for me with no bad reactions.

Text from Stockroom site:
We're proud to be offering these wonderful molded silicone dildos. Silicone is a great material for dildos because it feels warm to the touch. These smooth, flexible dildos are resilient and durable. The texture is similar to the softness of skin, giving them a sensual feel. The non-porous silicone cleans easily with soap and water, and unlike some latex materials, doesn't get sticky after being used. (No more picking lint off your freshly washed dildos!) Silicone products are also the only way to go for people who have latex allergies. Available in an assortment of shapes, colors, and lengths, all the same diameter

Laurel: You have whole drawer full of toys;  a large glass dildo, a glass anal probe, a number of vibrators, and other things that I don’t know about; you are a recognized expert in toy acquisition and use, and you are fully aware that I am truly appreciative of your skill in using these toys. But, I do have two questions: You say that you prefer “Latex” over “Rubber”, but is not latex a form of rubber?  Have you ever seen, or heard, of a glass vibrator?

I had my first glimpse of silicone toys the other day. The client brought his own, and they were really cool.

Now I need to find some silicone condoms..
Thank you so much for the website - that's awesome!

Oh! Just got an email with other websites that may be helpful to some:

You'd think I'd have done this before now, but I hadn't.  I found the link below to be very informative.  It explains that jelly toys are made of a type of rubber and that they are sticky and may require a lot of lube.  I did know that silicone is supposed to be a very good material, and I have a couple of silicone toys, but they are not for me (you know what I mean).  So, I forgot that they are easy to clean, are smooth, and are long-lasting.  I will have to try a silicone toy out for myself and see how I like it.  Wanna help?

I think it's just any rubber toys that I don't care for.  They irritate my skin, I have to use a condom on them to share them, and they break down quickly (it's the way I've been cleaning them, I see now).

I've never heard of or seen a glass vibrator.  I don't think I'm an expert on toys by any means.  I just like experimenting, and I do love my nipple clamps!

xxxooo,
Laurel

Apparently, they exist, but might be only for semen collection for medical analysis... including for rabbits.  Can you imagine the itty bitty condoms they must use?  :-D

Silicone is okay but I think I would like to try glass. It should glide more smoothly and if you can heat it, "all the better, my dear." Wow! Sounds like a Brothers Grimm fairytale, eh?

Hugs,
Ciara

Before you laugh, please note that it has to be warmed appropriately if you are cold sensitive.

Nothing and I mean nothing is as hypo-alergenic as glass or stainless.  The advantage to metal is the complete lack of breakage (except for a really hard bitch I once knew --- she could probably bend one in half with her .... never mind).

Talk about rigid!
