Here's what I know:
1. I am in a profession that involves taking care of peoples' needs. I spend my day catering to them, solving their problems, putting out their fires and making them feel better. At the end of the day, when my nerves are raw and my mind is frazzled, sometimes I like to see a provider so that I can be taken care of and pampered. I think this is pretty typical for hobbyists.
2. Providers are in a profession that involves taking care of other peoples' needs; they spend their days catering to them, etc., etc. So doesn't it stand to reason that at the end of their day, or on their day off, they might want to be taken care of?
Here's what I don't know: Providers, is this something that you've ever thought of desiring? Consider the question not in the context of what most real hobbyists are like, but in the context of what you'd like to have.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, or is it that I am not relating?
I HAVE hired other providers, but as fun for me and mine (to enjoy) as a three-some (but it was actually a five-some) but have never hired a Provider just for me.
I guess it would depend on what level of service you were referring to, and one's own sexuality..and, of course, the people involved..
..for uncharted territory, it's all in the timing..
I know I am not a provider, but I have to say something regarding this post.
Judging from posts on the DB and talking to the providers I have seen, I have a hard time equating the stress in a customer oriented workplace (for sometimes much too little compenation) with the stress providers go through. Admittedly, there are some bad customers, and I am in no way implying that it is not work, or, for the ladies who see several a day, exhausting work. However, if I ever treated a client like I or my CSR's got treated at my last job, she would be out the door so fast it would make my head spin.
I have read posts from (and talked with) providers who left the "civilian" workforce specifically BECAUSE they can tell a customer to go fuck themself. Can you imagine a CSR at a major corporation doing that? He would be on the street that day. Also, few CSR's get the pay that providers do. The ladies deserve it, and more power to them, but it is hard for me to think that they would ever feel the way some of my CSR's felt.
Of course, there are other things proiders feel (some I am aware of, and some I probably am not) that are conceptually much worse than "Job related" stress...having to be intimate with someone who is not clean, being physically threatened, worrying about health issues, worrying about LE. I just can't see the stress being of the same nature.
There are so many beautiful ladies here! Maybe some day I will be brave enough to try

. but yes, i do, sometimes just for myself, and since i feel that *** is always better 3 or more, if i am delaing with a guy, i might call 1 or 2 up for extra excitement.

I've hired a female provider before when I was traveling. It was a way to get out and party and get crazy and explore without the hassles that sometimes come with being alone and also to see what it's like to be in the shoes of my clients. I can imagine hiring a male escort for some of the same reasons. I'd especially do it if he was like Richard Gear's character in American Gigolo. Yumm.
