I have met several very good women, including a lady that I still see after three years, on CL. Is it a risky place to look? Yes, it is. If you are patient and do your research you can find talent. Many good providers use CL to advertise immediate availability when they travel or during slow periods.
There are many clear warning signs on CL that will indicate you who to consider seeing and who not to bother with. My gut feeling is to tell newbies to stay away until they know the ropes of how the hobby works but, if you know what you are doing, you can find some great ladies on CL.
I agree for the most part. Although I wouldn't say I've found any "great" experiences on CL, I've certainly found some good ones, reasonably priced and ones that fit the bill at the time. I don't go off the reservation too often, but I'll take a flyer on something I like.
You need a good stretch of time on that board doing your research before you should pull the trigger. BE PATIENT. On CL in LA you see well known porn stars advertising and they're LEGIT ads, not stolen pics. A lot of times touring providers will supplement their other ads.
Like so many of us, before I knew about TER I discovered CL. I spent weeks watching the posts daily. I discovered one very pretty lady who stood out from all the others and made the plunge with her. She also was new to the industry and also only knew about CL and Eros. It didn't take her long at all to "graduate" from CL and she is now one of Orlando's most popular and one of TER's highest rated ladies.
Like others have said, we, hobbyist and providers all start somewhere. From time to time there are some real gems to be found, but I would agree that 99% of the posts I see on CL are ladies I would choose not to see. Part of my problem with them is in Orlando, the majority of CL women are in their late teens or early 20's. As a mature guy, that age group no longer appeals to me.
I agree that a lot of the gals are just too young for my tastes. This is the effect of CL basically becoming the internet equivalent of the Street Walker's "Track" in most cities. These are girls that are escorting for all of the wrong reasons, are often involved with a pimp, and are really all about getting your money with the least amount of effort possible.
All the girls wise enough to put "TER Reviewed" in there ads will pop up.
With that being said, I haven't even been over there in a long time but it used to work for me. You could find a pretty good selection of well reviewed girls posting their immediate avalability...at least in OC, LA & SD. That filtered out the riff-raff real quick LOL.
a lot of ladies have figured out that putting TER reviewed in their ads will drive up traffic, but some of them don't actually have reviews and a lot of them have bad reviews.
As always, a little effort up front will almost always pay off later.
Becareful out there. CL is not a good board for this hobby. Stick with TER approved providers.

When I first started I did not know there were places other than CL to post an ad. We all have to start somewhere, and I know MANY of the ladies here started out there. I quickly learned that it is a ZOO and I moved on once I learned where to move on TO... My point is, CL is bad in many ways, but that does not make ALL the ladies on there bad. LE watches other places than CL I am sure. When I was posting ads on CL, the traffic I got was less desireable (for the most part) but I was super busy. NOW the gentlemen I see and true gentlemen and much much less volume (3 or 4 weekly and I would LOVE to have a few more) but I am very happy with the quaility of my visitors now versus a year and a half ago.
Just use your BRAIN (not you "head") and be very careful. It is my opinion that, if you find a lady that does not screen you, I would say to beware. Everyone has a different process to screen, but the ones who ask NO questions and say "come on over" are more than likely more dangerous to visit.
My best advice is to see reviewed ladies only, but like I said, we all started with nothing including no reviews.

I am one of those new girls.
I still am not sure where else to post ads other the CL.
I had a very bad experience with CL involving LE.
If u have any advice of other sites I can post please let me know! ;]
then CL wouldn't be such a minefield. I occasionally advertise on CL and I'm not a ROB. Come on'... it's not that hard if you take the time.
