Sure I'm probably 20 yrs older than her.  But I'm still a Cute Hunkie = no old man or old guy here. My problem is that I look way way too young for my age. I have no grey hair, full thick dark hair, no belly, solid pecs, and I still run 3X a week and hit the gym.  I have not aged in 20 years, as in no eye bags, no wrinkles - I can still run as fast as I did 20 years ago. I take care of myself pretty well.  So, Cute Hunkie is 100% accurate. When I will look old and bald, I'm going to change this name to an alias 'Old Man', but right now - that' still pretty accurate. And my problem is that I attract young girls, but they have absolutely no idea I could be older than their dad.  Youth is a state of mind - and if you have a very very strong mind - you can maintain that youth and reverse the clock

Leave the poor girl alone. Being nice to customers is part of her job. She doesn't need you hitting on her while she's at work. This also applies to the girl at the coffee shop, the dry cleaner, the 7-11, and the car rental place. It's just not cool.

stick with what you are doing - escorting ,sounds like she was  just being friendly to you. Happens to me alot in stores as well in gym where I work out.

Just say, hey everytime I come here I notice how beautiful you are, she's going to thank You for the complement, then you go from there... I wouldn't read to much in her being nice to you as it's her job to be nice to customers. Give it a try you have nothing to lose, if nothing else you'll have made her day by giving her a complement.

with 1 being that she says nothing, and 10 being that she says 'are you going to keep that cucumber all to yourself?' I would say what she said to you at the store is about a 2.    

In fact, it's just the opposite.  It's the kind thing to say to a person instead of "have a nice life."

Now if she had said:  "See you next (Insert day of the week you normally shop.), then you MIGHT have something developing, but it's very preliminary, and you have to start doing some gentle probing to find out.

The best way is to rejoinder with some comment that asks her for some personal information like, do you live around the neighborhood?  If she responds with a monosyllable  response, then you have a dry well.  If on the other hand you get her to say her address, then you might have a gusher.
