Best sex I have ever had was with a 67 year old man. I don't know why but it was awesome. In my experience old men tend to treat the ladies with a but more dignity than the younger ones, that may be another reason why.

I have nothing in common with men significantly older than my dad, and my (admittedly limited) experience has taught me that I need to put my comfort level at the top of my priority list. Does this mean significantly less income for me? Hell yeah (and by a pretty large margin, too), but it's a trade-off that I feel is best for me.

First off, in all the 'no AA' threads I have read, to a person every post I've read rightly expresses nothing but outright disdain for any racial prejudice, so I am not sure I'd be seeing a double standard if that were the only issue.    

But I also think you jump to quite a conclusion too when you suggest that a thread about age refers to 'old white guys'  and or is being responded to by old white guys.

Unless I'm mistaken reading the OP, he refers to age period (and I will not even comment on how one might characterize his alias in terms of commonly used jargon).  And we have no idea what the racial make up of the respondents are unless they volunteer it-and most don't

I think if someone wanted to they could suggest that your comment is in fact racially charged because you all of a sudden assumed it referred to white guys or that only white guys are responding and being nice to each other.  I am sure there are many older 'non-white' guys on this board and I think the OP would and responses apply equally to them.    

I would never suggest that your comment is racially charged because while people may have their opinions with regard to you or me or any one of us, where you are concerned I don't believe anyone would suggest you are a racist, and I would never do that either -- but I would simply suggest it would be a good idea if you be very careful before going where you just went based on this OP or the conclusions you jump to about who is responding.

That is her preference, for reasons she has stated.  
I just (barely) miss my chance to be able to see her.  
Now it seems that does not bother you since I am an 'old white guy', nearly as much as it would bother you if she said 'no AA men'.

The difference is that it does not bother me either that Tobi has this age limit and I am beyond it -- but I would feel badly for you if she said 'no AA men'

So in that regard maybe there is a double standard, but it is not the one you are suggesting.

Age is probably one of their least concerns.  Guys that are unsafe, known to be assholes, have marginal or negative references, seem entitled and stalkers probably are at the top of the Do Not See list.  Is an old but in shape and clean guy less attractive that a young, fat slob?  I doubt that age is even in the top ten reasons for a provider not to see someone (with Tobi being the exception).

I have hesitated to join this discussion mostly because I don't want to come across as a braggart or bullshitter. I didn't start this hobby until I was 80. Now at 82 I have seen only 7 ladies whose ages ranged from 27 to 50 when I first met them. Three of them have quit escorting to get married or just retired. I was upfront about my age from the start and not one of them had any reservations or at least they didn't show it if they did. Granted, I don't look my age. I am average-looking, 10 lbs overweight, white-haired and I'm always clean when I see them. Yesterday, one of the retired (age 44) came over for lunch just to visit and chat. Next week I have a duo scheduled (I'll probably be still alive at the start lol). The youngest of my small group (29 now) is my ATF  and we do many OTC activities. So, I guess, there is more to age than just a number. I have no problem with Tobi or any other provider who won't see us older clients and I wish them well.

Seriously. older guys do not turn me on. They are just easier to deal with for the most part. And if anything goes south I can always take em out and tie em up for LE to cart em away.
