Actually, though I had one really bad agency experience, I've had good experiences, too.  I wouldn't say all agencies everywhere are bad. But somehow, there are some advantages with indies.

And no, I'm not sure that a few ladies' decent reviews would clearly indicate that all ladies at an agency are good.  It depends more about the direction at the top of the agency. Some agencies may insist that all ladies behave well, and some agencies may provide less direction and therefore vary more. (Same as any other businesses.)

What would concern me more is the lack of reviews, regardless whether agency or indie.  I'd really stick to well-reviewed ladies whose reviewers have done multiple reviews.

First, know that I am on my own. Second, no one is forcing me to do this. Third, if I get an agency on the phone, explain that I am reluctant to book without reviews, that if the girl is not attractive, I intend to send her away (perhaps with a small tip, although most would agree this is unnecessary). Fourth, be willing to send her away, or willing to be mad because I didn't.
