Hi gang,
Just wanted to drop by and wish everyone a great week. I haven't been around much as I've been preparing for my gastric bypass surgery, set for June 9 down in Weston Florida.

I am so ready for this, as it is two years plus coming to fruition. I am thankful for the posts here and the members who have answered questions and become some great online pals in the last year.

I'll be home hopefully by Saturday, and I'll eventually let everyone know how I'm doing. (This of course is to keep all of you playing the Jimbomania Home Game updated to the latest news.)

Take care everyone. Play safe, hobby hard ... be good, be clean, be nice and lick her well for me this week.

Jimbo

because we talked about this SO long ago..and now it's here. That's wonderful. The 9th you say? Let me put that down on my calendar so I can pray for you on YOUR day.

You're going to be so happy - and we'll be so happy for you!
Isn't 2004 an amazing year??

I have seen and heard so much about this surgery over the last few months because of shows like extreme makeover. I am sure it will work great.

Just remember to allow yourself to heal inside as well as out.

that occur after its done.

One of the local shopkeepers in town weighed well over 450 pounds and carried oxygen tanks around with her. I spoke with her just Today and she has now lost over 200 pounds in just 18 months. She couldn't be happier as she realizes now the grim allternative she was facing. She's signed "a new lease on life".

Good luck!

You must do what is necessary for your own success even with this surgery.

I was amazed last month when I saw a news report about how many people have lost weight with this procedure only to gain all or more of it back. This surgery will help with the physical part, but the emotional part must also be dealt with for good long term results.

Best of luck.
