One thing that never ceases to entertain me is looking through the reviews and reading providers' stage names.  Bambi Butterfly Kisses, AleXXXa, Mimsy VonComebucket,  Diamond Tiara... I'm making those up off the top of my head, but I guarantee that at least one of them probably exists somewhere out there lol.

Providers-- How did you choose your stage name?  Does it have any special significance to you, or did it just sound cool?

Hobbyists-- What's the craziest/funniest/oddest stage name you've encountered?  What about your TER handle, what does it mean

OK, your turn.

that the name Alexandra conveyed intelligence with some naughtiness. All the other names that I like didn't seem to fit for me. Got to look like the name may fit. I can't be a Bertha or Blondie if I don't look like I'd fit the name. (examples). Also, Alexandra works great if they want to save my name in their contacts under "Alex". Can be passed off as a guy's name.

Obviously as far as my handle, I just used my stage name and my city. We all know I am in Milwaukee. Just straight to the point.

One of the oddest names I came across was CalamityJane. I don't know the woman and she is now retired. Just found it an odd name but with some personality perhaps. Not a bad name, just different.

I have seen some hobbyists' handles where it conveyed either curiousity, loathing/negativity, laughter/hilarity, warm feelings etc.

Mimsy sounds like s snob. She may not be a snob but it is the first thing that pops into my head when I hear that name.

I sort of want to add onto my handle but am not sure how many characters we are allowed. I'd be adding on 6 more.

That is too funny. I would actually want to see a gal who had that stage name because she is showing a good sense of humor. (Yeah I am odd)

How about Ivana Humps Alot?

Weird, strange, but could be considered meaningful, I guess.
I once saw a provider in San Diego, who has since retired and was married, who was a Librarian in the real World.
Ready for her stage name ?

The very first name I went by was my personal middle name (initially I was planning on using a different spelling of my real name...probably a good thing that I didn't). My next stage name (Kylie) was chosen by my former assistant. My current stage name is my porn name (though I don't advertise my last name in order to keep this business a bit separate from the porn business).

No, I was going to put AlexandraSteeleMilw as my handle. Adding 6 letters.  Adding 5 letters would make Milwaukee. I think everyone knows what Milw stands for and if they don't, I probably wouldn't want to see them anyways.

I have a thing for the word Steele. Anyways I am going to keep my name as is. Having AlexandraMilw as a handle and Alexandra for reviews is fine. Confuses things for some if I have a last name added on but only first name for reviews.

and had writers block trying to think of a name for a character I figured maybe I'd help him out a little PS you should see the lovely thank you note he PMed me.

As for providers, my first was Andrea Ferria who worked out of San Jose and Portland.  I didn't think much of the name until it occurred to me that Ferria kinda meant money; very well done.   She was smart as Faulkner lol, fun, normal, and worth all the ferria I had that night.

My handle has little to do with the movie or book, but if I told you I'd have to kill you. :)

For an example any woman with "goddess" in her name will never get a call from me.

Just in case ... there was a real Calamity Jane.  She is also retired.  Don't mind the pics too much.  She'd look a lot better if she did a shoot with Aldo

So Ava St. Claire is actually a little inside joke with myself.  It gives the impression of class and sophistication, but it's actually the name of a character from the TV show King of Queens-- A 70-something year old lounge singer, played by the fabulous Lainie Kazan.

Elegant and glamorous on the outside... sassy old broad on the inside ;)

As for the "THE" in my handle, apparently there's another AvaStClaire lurking on TER somewhere, since that name was unavailable. I guess, technically, I'm an impostor since she and Lanie Kazan came first... But I'm THE only one writing on these message boards

Best provider name - Lili Von Shtupp.  Ok, she wasn't real - she was a character in Blazing Saddles.  But I still love her just the same.   ;-)

And my handle comes from... well...  the short answer is that I'm a nerd.  The full answer would be long winded and overly complicated.

Much like myself.

LOL...no "danielledoll" is just some random username I came up with for TER. I don't remember the name of the street I grew up on (I'm a military brat so moved around a ridiculous amount when I was younger). The owner of the network my site is under actually came up with the name "Danielle" for my porn stage name (I initially wanted to use the name "Genevieve" which I had used for two previous porn shoots). If I was to use the name of my first pet for my last name it would be either Bebe or Fifi (the names of my guinea pigs from when I was a child).

What's in a name is really interesting, because there are some ladies I pass by strictly because of their poorly chosen names. But there are some names that catch your imagination. One of my favorites was great.day.to.play. One could draw the image of this woman being a lot of fun, which was actually beyond the truth. Another name I loved was Rockabella. Did one imagine that this lady was going to rock your world? She did, and then some! An interesting one that has a lot to do with your 'I love you' thread from a few days ago was, Luvmenot. You didn't want to mess around with her. I also liked the dancer name, V. Tracy. You got the impression that she was a little more thoughtful than the other ladies. Again, oh so true!

As for me, several of my lady friends have given me nicknames. My Ter name is an offshoot of two of those nicknames.

By the way, could you give me the link to Miss VonComebucket? She sounds like tons of fun.

Why would a gal who has a mind and uses it give you the wrong impression? I for one like outgoing gals that post interesting things. It's called being friendly, unless they are posting ThreADS, of which she doesn't.
