This topic has undoubtedly been covered previously sometime, so forgive me.  But....

Hobbysts  do you ever take gifts to your providers.  If so, what seems to be the offering of choice?  Do you ask them ahead of time what they might enjoy having?

And Providers... Do you like to receive gifts, and if so, what?....

And I'm not looking for the satirical answers of 'a Porsche' or 'Vacation to Tahiti'.....

Many ladies will list things under a "gift" heading on their website.  Some may do it as a joke, so they ask for a Porsche, or stock in a company, or something outrageous.  Otherwise, I've always found that a bouquet of roses, or other flowers is one of the best things to give.
I don't think there is a lady anywhere that doesn't like to get flowers.

Not foods or alcoholic beverages- never know what they are allergic too-

Not flowers or plants if in an environment such  as a hotel- hard to explain when the provider leaves with bouquets and plants etc..

Gift cards to their favorite stores is always a good one.-

COLD HARD CASH was the best!

I'm a self-admitting, selfish, self-centered, self-seeking man - And adding the same amount I would spend on a gift to the "bottom line" ALWAYS scores me more menu options in the session! Not to mention the time I saved not shopping around and trying to think up something she probably wouldn't give a damn about anyway.........

I would only give gifts to providers that I know reasonably well, so that I could sense what they would like. Last week I gave my regular (ATF) a gemstone pendant and chain for her birthday. She especialy liked the small jewelry box that I got separetely to hold the gift.

I guess what to give depends on the person. She would appreciate the gift more if you find out, without asking, what she like. For example, my ATF barely have time for lunch after her morning class, and I know that she is not a picky eater. I usually visit her after having lunch at home; so from now on I'll cook a little bit more and bring  her food.

Also, the best gifts are the ones that requires some effort on your part. She wanted me to draw a cartoon of her; I guess I have to get on with it. :(

Hi R

I like to get to know the lady via emails/PMs well prior to our first meeting so that I can assure myself that we will be compatible. During this process I will discover her interests & likes and I will try & buy something that fits in with them.

Nothing outrageous, certainly nothing more than $100, but something that shows you have put some thought into it.

I give it to them immediately after we meet, if the meeting was especially memorable, then there is nothing to prevent me giving a tip in cash at the end.

are those where it shows that the gentleman has really thought about me, taken the time to learn about what I like and don't like... all of which is on my website.

Any gift, to any one at any time, that shows you've taken the time to really *think* about that person, means a lot.

That said, my favorite gifts have been a book that the gentleman is reading that he thinks I might like; boxes (I collect them); sterling silver or white gold jewelry; or my favorite roses (they're hard to find).

My least favorite gift: lingerie (I'm very choosy about lingerie, most people can't guess what I'll like).

Just my thoughts...

a piece of jewelery to a new provider as a kind of token offering.  I enjoy shopping for jewelery and people (other than providers) have told me I have good taste in choosing it.  One provider wore a piece I bought her in one of her photos on her site, so I guess that says something.  After that, I buy presents for providers I have know for a while for their birthdays and Xmas.  Others I know can't really use jewelery because they have SO's whom they don't want to know about their secret lives.  In that case I buy something I know they want, but would never buy for themselves, like a $100 bottle of Champagne or similar trifle.  On occasion, I have bought very expensive clothing and lingerie, but that is dicey.  You really have to know the person well and have a lot of confidence in your taste to pull that off.  The safest bet is when a woman puts down on her site what she wants you to bring.  Usually something like a good perfume.

it's awkward carrying out of a hotel, gets all over my car while driving home, and my cats eats them and gets sick afterward.  Urgh!

1st time meeting Jessie through Orange County CL, and was made particularly pleasurable from a piece of lingerie I bought for her that day.  One size fits all, lacy, with stockings.  Yum.  She liked wearing, and I loved admiring.

I have bought lingerie and sent flowers to my ATF.  But I have never done so with someone new, only her.  I do it more as a thank you, after, or shall I say between sessions because i will usually see her multiple days.

My all time favorite gift was a set of handmade maple boxes given to me by my date who had spent hours making them just for me!  I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful.

I have recently been doing some employee contests at where the employees can win $25 Mobile cards.

Right now gas is better than "GOLD"!
I am seeing a "new" friend next week and thoght of maybe giving her one of them. what do you think? OR maybe just a gift card to V secrets or somewhere nice to eat...

If someone opts to bring a gift, then I usually prefer they ask first. If they choose to make it  a suprise then something simple and thoughtful will get my attention faster than "the buy all, fit all, for all gift."

I have received many great gifts, but the one that I thought was really original but practical was a a Schnucks gift card:) Everyone has to eat!
I like the gas card idea as well. I have a gift page where a gentlemen can see the kinds of things I like.
