Suggestion and Policy
I am new here...and have some suggestions for TER based on initial use. I assume most have probably been covered in previous threads, but thought worth mentioning just in case. If some of these are already part of the site, I apologize in advance for my ignorance at this point.
1. should have "key word" search of reviews. I have found I often go to google to search TER, as opposed to doing within TER. This is inefficient. I know you can search by drop-down boxes, but what if I am looking for search of something not in drop-down box like "swedish"?
2. provider should have complete control to set up and edit her own page. It looks like currently done by client(s)? A provider should also be contacted when a page has been established and any changes are made.
3. provider should be able to respond to reviews. If you look at site like tripadvisor.com, the Four Seasons hotel chain will respond to every review on one of its properties. Similarly, a provider should get emailed every time a new review goes up, so that they can respond if they feel the need.
4. is there a review section for clients/hobbyists? I know there is the white page section and I know there is a provider-only section, but to be honest I think this should be more of a two-way street. Maybe it is just providing more info on white page section. Similarly, I think the client should get emailed every time there is new review/white page posting, and have opportunity to respond as well. There also should be a one-click button to request whitepage referral. The truth is that at the least the hobbyist should be reviewed on appearance and how pleasant we are. And to be honest, maybe we also should get judged on other metrics that could be important like weight or age. I completely would understand if a provider does not want to take on someone that you would not want to sit next to on a plane! 
5. It would be great to have a My Favorites folders. All are currently dropped into one, but it would be nice to be able to create Blond/Brunette, over/under $500, or different cities.
6. My Favorites summary page could be improved. It should definitely overall rating and donation columns. I hate having to click through each one to figure it out. Even better would be being able to customize the columns of data that are displayed to exactly what you want.
7. From the providers page, it would be great to have a button to request being added to email distribution list. The provider can then approve making it easy to eblast the fans with specials and other things of note.
8. I don't think the reviews scale from 1-10 should be dependent on services provided. It is my understanding that with FBSM or GFE you can only get a 7 unless the provider also provides "other" services. That doesn't make any sense to me. Either those boxes are ticked or they are not. The most important thing for me is the quality of the service. If I am looking for FBSM, I can quickly see whether she is open to BJ based on whether that box is ticked. But, it makes my process much more difficult to try to adjust the ratings based on whether she provides additional services.
That is it for now. All of this is done with the hopes of making an already great resource even better.

Providers have their providers only board here on TER. They also have other sites with provider only boards. They have blacklist sites and verification sites, and they share references. These are all ways where they can discuss hobbyists.
Oh and by the way the white pages are a phone book. TER has a whitelist.
Bad idea and not needed. Most hobbyists dont want to be bothered by providers. When they want to see a provider they contact the provider. They dont want the providers contacting them. The hobbyists that are okay with being contacted or who want to be contacted can usually contact the provider through email or through their website to be added to a mailing list. TER does not have to add that feature to profiles.
How about you read the self help manual, and look at the site map, and read some of the discussion boards including this one (where you would have seen that some of your suggestions already came up before), and kind of get used to the site and how things work, and get settled in for a little while before you come up with a whole bunch of new ideas for an overhaul?
