Here is the situation: posts that contain entries in all three fields or at least both URL fields at the bottom of the form:
Link URL [filled in]
Link Title [filled in or blank]
Picture URL [valid pic url filled in]
.
As far as I know, it has always been the case, that when you click on the embedded picture while reading the post that it opens up the "Link URL." To me, that doesn't make sense. I would prefer to see the picture enlarged or opened in a new tab (or window).
.
Usually, the link URL barely has anything to do with the picture subject. E.g, LINK to a website about sploshing and PICTURE of a tasty dessert. If I want to go to the website, I'll click the hot link. But usually I want to zoom in on the dessert to see the details
.
I think that other changes are more important, but I wonder what others EXPECT to happen when clicking on a picture and what you would like to happen. Or maybe you just don't care.
.
I am including a "Link URL" to TER at wikipedia; a "Link Title" of TER at wikipedia and an unrelated tiny picture that I might have wanted to zoom in on. When you click on the picture, you get a new tab with the wikipedia entry.
.
EDIT: Just my luck. I pick a tiny thumbnail pic and, this time, it gets blown up to a fuzzy giant picture. I might try to change it later.
