Has TER considered adjusting its reward structure?

Providing the full VIP days for writing reviews and for reporting issues with both reviews and ads is nice. However I wonder if the current structure is best for accomplishing both having enough current reviews and having an active user participation in the QA process.

My view is that once a provider has about 10 reviews for then past 3 months one should have a good idea of just what to expect. However that depends on how accurate the review is. TER is not in a perfect position to make that assessment but some of the other members of TER can be.

Incentives for doing QA type efforts (reporting what seems to be inaccuracies in a review) seem to be equally as important as contributing reviews to TER but the current incentive system greatly favors submitting a review that gets accepted over community self-policing/QA of reviews submitted.

I know I am lobbying against my own interests, but a LOT more work goes into actually writing a review than goes into reporting inaccuracies in said review/s.

I hope you aren't really suggesting "QA type efforts" where a reviewer and his reviews would be subject to being cross examined about the accuracy of everything he wrote, What a fucking clusterfuck that would be and I can't think of anything that would do more to discourage members from writing reviews.
