TER has many policies they do not disclose. If your first review is for a provider new to TER it does not get approved. I understand why the policy is in place. But I would have never made that my first review if it was disclosed. I read the Reviews FAQ ahead of time. I read the Submit A Review page too. Neither mention this.
Now I have a review held because the provider does not include her name in her advertisement. This provider is an existing provider on TER. She has other reviews. I have no control over how a provider markets themselves. I can see this as an issue if I was trying to add her to TER. I am not. She is already there. No where is this policy disclosed. Ignore the reasons behind the policy. The first policy has some merit. The second one makes no sense under the circumstance. Why does TER not disclose basic policies? Should they be more transparent?Some of the rules and policies do need to be updated, but there is a reason for your first issue. Aside from the obvious first reviewer/first reviewed "fake" problem, some of them may go up after a more seasoned reviewer posts a review of the same provider. If that was the basis of your denial, you can always check back later and if she is reviewed by another reviewer and yours has still not posted, you can ask admin to revisit your review submission. Trust me, they want more reviews, not less.
As far as your second issue, that is stated in the review guidelines as follows:"The lady being reviewed must have an advertisement on the web that includes her *name* and any one type of the following contact information: phone number, pager, email address or reservation form" If you submit an ad that didn't show her name, it was rightfully denied. However, if you see a providers profile and it already has an ad or website with her name, just use the one that works It looks like your second issue isn't a problem any longer. Your review has been published.

that's never going to happen. shouldn't TER be more transparent? of course, but they will never do it. why? because they don't need to.
