There is a way to search providers here useing there name, can there also be a way to search VIP members? As stated in the LA board there, We ladies do see alot of TER members and we like to check, before we make an appointment, their reviews and such.

Just a thought.

Perhaps I shouldnt be answering (dont want to make it look like I am trying to speak for STAFF) but if you can find a review the user made, you can click on his name to see his other reviews.

His postings in the discussion board should have a link to his reviews, but If the user uses an Alias on the LA board like I do, you wont be able to connect his reviews with his nom de guerre. Many of us do this not because there is anything particularly odd in our reviews or anything. I just like to keep my reviews seperate from my online identity. Also for reasons of discretion.

Red,
If you are already at the point of discussing TER, it's probably best to be honest with the guy and ask if he minds if you look at his reviews and/or postings.  If reviews are ok, ask him for his real member name and the name of one of the girls he reviewed.  From there you can find others by clicking on his member name.  If postings are ok, ask him for his posting alias.  If you don't want to go that far, just take whatever TER name he gives you and search the discussion boards and you might get lucky.

I have been thinking about adding this feature so girls can do a "check" on a guy by his reviews.  Anyone else interested?

I understand what & why RED wants to be able to do this, but don't John.Gault's & linkmeister's suggestions already answer the question?

Thank you and I have done all of what John Gault and linkmeister have suggested.  I do use all my abilities on TER search. And at times the gentleman give me the Providers names and other information but it just doesn't come up for a number of reasons aka they have asked to be deleted.

Sometimes I feel like I'm asking them to give up there first born to verify them and most gentleman are still apprehensive as it is to give out information on there selves even know I still have to ask all these questions to verify all my clients. But we all know one has to do what one has to do to protect are selves.

That would be great if staff implements this for providers. And another idea is also to have the VIP members to have a profile on TER for Providers to look and with the link to their reviews.

The VIP members are here to find the lady that they want to spend time with.
Feedback?

Some people value privacy more than others, and wont willingly give up information. (the 'first born' part you mentioned)

If you have a thorough screening process, then that means these people can't see you unless they provide enough other info.

In my example, a few people here know who I am (and would tell you that there is no big mystery about me) but I prefer to be able to give out that information selectively including the ability to read my reviews and know "I" wrote it.

I would have no objection to a search form that linked reviews to a a given login name, but I would prefer that the search screen not link reviews to an alias name.

OK John and I can understand that.  Given your screen name here, and let me assume, that you do post reviews and this would be your alias and your VIP screen name is where we would see your reviews correct? OK and you would willing give the provider your VIP screen name to look up your reviews.  Staff implements this new feature and all she has to do is type in your VIP screen name and WALA there you are and your reviews.

Yes my screening process is thorough but there is always an exception to a rule as in: The gentleman owns his own business, or he is retired, a private contractor.  These are the things that we Providers have to go out of are way (and nothing wrong with this either, it’s not a complaint) to verify the Client using other means. Hence the TER board and his public profile, and the reviews he’s posted or his comments on the discussion board.  If a man doesn't want personal information on his profile then so be it, TER won't twist his arm, force him, to write anything about himself that he doesn't want put up. That’s all up to him.

OK I just think it’s a good idea I was throwing out there to help us ladies better, in providing are clients with a safe haven for them and ourselves.

Isn't it a beautiful day here in Southern CA? Think I will go horseback riding on the beach.  :)

If the search feature linked to a login name, as opposed to alias's, I would have no complaint with it.

That could be a good idea to help the ladies. I am sympathetic to the needs of ladies to protect themselves by screening their clients.

Beautiful day today...

I think it would be ok to have a feature where one can search for reviews of VIP members by their main name only.  Of course, you wouldn't want the search to work for aliases, because this would allow the searcher to tie the alias to the main name and the alias would be no more.

If I gave out my main name to providers, I wouldn't feel as comfortable with this new procedure and I think it could compromise the objectivity of reviews. But hobbyists have the ability to keep this information secret so I am fine with the suggested change.
