so...do we have a new middle reliever in nick green?

he is a former knuckleball/sinkerball pitcher from what I understand. He hadn't pitched in a game since junior college (roughly 11 years) and still had a solid delivery and pitched 2 scoreless innings? Maybe he should have stayed a pitcher.

They are a TEAM. They step up and do what is needed. I don't think the phase " Thats not my position" ever comes up in that clubhouse, with guys flip flopping different spots left and right to make the team work.

Not that uncommon, especially this year. A lot of position players have been taking turns on the mound in blowouts.
