Hi everybody!

...Did you really think we wouldn't have a competition for this fight?

So, to enter the competition, you need to pick the winner and the round the fight is won in - getting the winner correct will get you 2 VIP days, and picking the round (or indeed that the fight will go to the judge's scorecards) will be a bonus 5 VIP days. Please make your picks before NOON EASTERN ON SATURDAY to enter, and good luck everybody!

The fight is Saturday night.
I am sure I could bet with amazing accuracy on any sport, day after the  event.

Or perhaps it is too late at night and I am the one confused, after the date I had tonight
who didn't answer her phone, if so please forgive me no questions asked, I will do the same
    with her.  :-D

Thank you, I will sleep soundly tonight with my belief she was merely confused, believing  tonight is tomorrow night, or maybe it was me?   Wouldn't be the first time. :-D

I'm definitely calling Pacquiao to win .
TKO, KO, split decision or unanimous I am not as sure of, yet .      TBA     :-D

Manny Pacquiao  KO's  Mayweather   ninth round.

A great boxer annihilating his opponent can  lose in a split second .

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/apr/29/great-rounds-boxing-manny-pacquiao-juan-manuel-marquez-iv-round-six

"Besides being a former six-division world champion, Oscar De La Hoya has a unique distinction: He won on a judge’s scorecard against Mayweather. De La Hoya lost a split decision to Mayweather in 2007.
But Pacquiao retired De La Hoya after eight rounds in 2008. “If Mayweather fights the Pacquiao who fought me, he is in for some trouble,” De La Hoya said.

The conventional view of this fight is that it is a matchup of power (Pacquiao) against elusiveness (Mayweather), but De La Hoya sees Pacquiao’s movement as pivotal. “Mayweather has never fought a lefty who moves in and out, side to side like Pacquiao,” De La Hoya said. “Pacquiao’s footwork is the key. Also, he has to make Mayweather open up and engage, then punch when Mayweather is punching.”

De La Hoya recommends jabbing over Mayweather’s defensive guard. “And bring that great left of his down the middle.”

It wouldn't be the first time that a high profile fight has ended in a draw due to, let's be charitable and say 'questionable' decisions made by the judges?

Now, I'm not suggesting that boxing is a work (not explicitly anyway), but a draw means a rematch - and a rematch means more money, especially when the next time round they hold it in a bigger venue and with more time to sell tickets. But hey, maybe I'm just a cynic (or a pro wrestling fan)!
