I didn't think it was that bad of a hit.  Seemed like the refs were trying to protect the old guy.

The Raiders in the old days were a lot worse.

It's tackle football!  I can't stand how the big brass from the NFL go out of their way to protect the quarterbacks.

Offensive linemen are not allowed to "high low" double team a defensive player.  The NFL is merely applying the principle of that rule to the tackle on Farve; McCray struck Favre around the legs while defensive tackle Remi Ayodele plowed into the quarterback’s upper body.

However, on defense, the tacklers are trying to get to the ballcarrier any whichway, not in a planned method like an offesive play.  In conclusion, the principle should NOT apply to defense.

Farve is good but if you are too old to take a hit, retire and stay retired

insulting its own officials.

If it was NOT a penalty on the field, WTF they assessing fines?

Fines should ONLY be assessed on plays that had penalties called.

IMHO
