When Manager Ozzie Guillen was asked who was starting on Saturday, he reluctantly mentioned Contreras and added, “I don’t have any choices. None are good.” Earlier this week, Guillen said he would have a heart attack if he had to start Contreras.
I'm guessing Contreras will be designated very soon...or when Peavy is ready.
