Jim Boeheim of Syracuse was named AP Coach of the Year and Evan Turner of Ohio State won Player of the Year honors.

Turner's 'turn-over' stats preclude me from ggiving him accolades.

Steve Alford would have an arguement for coaching honors.

I think Boeheim got votes for coaching in the Big East.

Media people love that guy for some reason. Some of his teams have under achieved so much it's pathetic.
They should have waited until the Tournament was over to cast the votes. What about the guy from Butler, Bob Huggins, Bruce Pearl, Coach Cal, Tom Izzo, etc, etc, etc.
Also a 39 foot buzzer beater in the Conference Tournament does not a Player of The Year make. Guy averaged more turnovers a game than he did assists for crying out loud.
Ok....I feel better now!

I agree about Wall, Rob. But, being a Kentucky guy I kinda have to! LOL! Looks like he and 4 others are headed to the NBA. Cal's gonna have to reload.

said that he was undecided about going pro or coming back to college. He'll probably go, but at least it's not a slam dunk like everyone thinks it is.

Based on everything I've heard from "my people" in Lexington, he's enjoyed the college experience much more than he thought he would. If he stays, I'll be stunned.
