What can I say, Hell has froze over! After 43 years we finally made it!

That was one hell of a game, we are waiting for the crowds to thin a bit before we even attempt to leave the dome. But no one is leaving, party is starting here, just unbelievable.

While lot of could have, should have, if they had less penalties, if they didn't have so many turnovers......

Frave did great and showed real guts playing hurt but in the end,

The Saints are going to the freaking Super Bowl!
The Saints are going to the freaking Super Bowl!
The Saints are going to the freaking Super Bowl!
The Saints are going to the freaking Super Bowl!
The Saints are going to the freaking Super Bowl!

So I am signing off from the Superdome, it is time to go hit Bourbon street with the girls.  Should be a wild night.

And that means you all have to put up with another week of my Who Dat Nation spam

Thank you Saints!!!

As usual, the Vikings find an odd way to blow a playoff game. A 12-men in the huddle penalty, followed by a Favre pick cost Minnesota the NFC title. With the game going to sudden death, locked at 28, the Saints won the coin flip, and it was all over with a field goal. I love it!

It has been a year of NFL Hell for this Packer fan who lives in the Minneapolis area, dealing with all the Favre hype. For years, the Minnesota fan base bitched about Favre when he was with GB. When Brett took his diva act to Minnesota, suddenly purple #4 jerseys show-up everywhere.

My dream ending for today's game would have been Judas Favre throwing a pick six on an audible, after Brad Childress had called a run play. But, I'll gladly take today's Minnesota meltdown and turnover fest.

Thank you Saints for putting the nail in the Minnesota coffin... and thank you Vikings for the glut of turnovers today. Now all those Viking Pro Bowl selections can hit Miami one week earlier.

The Minnesota loss today was even sweeter than the Atlanta sudden death win in '98, and the Giants 41-0 blowout of the Vikings in 2001. Adios purple... and welcome to the start of Favre's retirement-roulette.

and he did. What was Favre thinking when he threw that pass across his body in area of five Saint's players. Yes! Yes!

I am not going to be kind. I am glad the Saints won. I am also happy I won't to listen to another Favre interview, at least for two weeks. Please ESPN, can we have Favreless two weeks, PLEASE!!!!! All Iwant to hear is about Saints, abut Bobby Herbert, Duece McAlister, the Bayou, Food, Aaaron Neville, Archie Manning, DRew Brees, Darren Sharper et al.

GO! GO! Saints.

OH yes! ESPN, could please shut up Chris Berman.

I have always felt it takes more than one man to make a team.  But, I still love our MN Vikings and I still thought they had a fantastic year and deserved to make it to the Super Bowl ...that is UNTIL the second half of this playoff game.  The VIKINGS beat themselves. The turnovers, fumbles, and Favres inopportune interception caused them to lose this game.  We could have had 2 more touchdowns and a field goal and won by a landslide but for sloppy, sloppy play on our part.

So, congrats to the Saints.  And, again, I do hope they win the Super Bowl.

The Colts were once in the AFC East, so there is reason to dislike them...

Go have fun Bourbon Street...it's great to see joy again in New Orleans!
