Fame. Personally, I am no big fan of the Raider's but these men deserve their due, they earned it.

be inducted into the Hall of Fame. More than his statistics and Super Bowls he won; I like his story. He was born to parents who were blind. Plunkett,worked a variety of jobs such as grocery clerk, construction worker to support his family and yes got his degree from Stanford. In the NFL he endured the punishment as a result of poor offensive line. When he was released from the San Francisco 49ers, he rode the bench in Oakland without complaint.

When Dan Pastorni was injured and Plunkett was asked to take the helm. He did not disappoint, as he took that team to two Super Bowls. Did you know Plunkett, is only one of four Heisman trophy winners to win a Super Bowl MVP?

Plunkett still gives to the community and you will not meet a man of higher character than him. Hell yes I think he belongs in the Hall of Fame, he is a winner.

I was aware of the Heisman story. The rest is somewhat of a success story.

We don't elect to the Hall for being a great humanitarian though.

Now if indeed his stats dictate that he SHOULD be in the Hall,wtf is the problem? Not a showboat?
