was magnificent, and Braylon Edwards was excellent in his first game as a Jet.  Along with Jake Long, they all played together at Michigan, and for sure Michigan fans wish they were still playing there.  For the record, Jay Feely, the Jets placekicker, played for Michigan too, but not at the same time as Henne, Long and Edwards.

Seems like Big 10 players have to go to the NFL to show their true talents. I haven't seen that many perfect long passes in awhile, especially that Sanchez to Edwards.

I just hope this game exemplifies what this rivalry will become once again. Thank God that long gone are the days for Jay Fiedler v. Chad Pennington.

Both guys played really well; one of the best games I have seen in a long time. Sanchez looked very good and Henne, that dude has a cannon! But my play of the game was when the Dolphins brought in Pat White, who had hung out in the sidelines all game, to pick up a first down on the wildcat.

when he was at Michigan.  Unfortunately, he was hurt a lot at Michigan, but even with a bad shoulder he was extremely good.  He was hurt his entire senior year, and Ryan Mallet (now with Arkansas) had to play and start three or four games while Henne was recovering.  But Henne was FINALLY healthy for Michigan's bowl game that year, and what did Michigan do in that game?  They beat Florida and Tim Tebow!

where is the highly touted defense>?>

a beat-you-in-the-trenches defense. Which befuddles me because mammoth Kris Jenkins would be that stand down run stopper. The Dolphins offensive line were brilliant. They remind me a lot of the Ol' Dallas Cowboys line of Erik Williams and Nate "I smoke two tokes in the afternoon" Newton.

draft picks. I wonder if Mangini is still on the Jets payroll. That Sanchez (USC) to Edwards (Michigan) looks like a terrific exiting combo.

Tell me being from Michigan does it make you cringe to see Matt Millen on ESPN? I love Big-10 homers (except Ohio St.):)))

a bit. Edwards didn't seem to have the dropsies that he had in Cleveland.

will soon make everyone forget all about Pennington.  If I'm right, Pennington will be out of Miami within a year.

defense. Pennington may not be back anyway, depending on how bad his shoulder is injured. Different topic, I'm not a real big fan of Rex Ryan, but I admire the way he took responsibility for the lack of defense after the game. Buffalo is in for a long day this weekend.
